I personally never found Anakin whiny. I think people are forgetting what Obi-Wan said to Luke in Return of the Jedi, where he said "I thought that I could instruct him just as well as Yoda. I was wrong." This implied that Obi-Wan went against Qui-Gon's ways for training Anakin and still cared too much about being in the Council, even though Qui-Gon wanted Obi-Wan to think for himself. In Episode 1, Yoda sensed danger in Anakin's training by Obi-Wan but tried to be patient, while still telling Obi-Wan the danger he senses in his training. Episode 3 even shows Obi-Wan in the Council, which further shows that he did in fact went against what Qui-Gon wanted him to do, including the fact that Obi-Wan didn't train Anakin the way Qui-Gon would have wanted him to do. While Obi-Wan was a good man in his youth, he was also rigid and dogmatic (though not as much as Mace Windu), which caused the friction between him and Anakin. The reason why Qui-Gon didn't want to be in the Council was because the rest of the Jedi blindly followed rules and orders, including the fact that they blindly ignored the corruption of the galactic senate (which Count Dooku was right about). The fight in Episode 1 was called "Duel of the Fates" because it determined Anakin's fate. Had Qui-Gon lived, Anakin wouldn't become Darth Vader because he had someone to truly understand him. Qui-Gon was a more pragmatic, insightful, and empathetic individual who viewed Anakin's passionate nature as something special. During Obi-Wan's exile after the events of Episode 3, he came to believe that his shortcomings as a mentor is what Anakin painfully disillusioned and embittered, even leaving the latter vulnerable to Palpatine's influence.
If only the Anakin head could be replaced for the Vader's head we saw in Episode VI this figure would be perfect. It would've been awesome if this head came in the box!!
That's exactly what I wanted to do but I was afraid to pull the head off and ruin the circuitry trying to remove the hair because it's glued very strongly. How did you remove it in your figure?
