Frog lube is awesome, if you take a small butane torch and just go over the open container of the lube for just a second it will make it melt into liquid, then just dab like a small paint brush in it and apply it wherever needed, works really well I promise you, good video!
It would be interesting to see a comparison between different types of coatings to see what works best. I would think something like a Teflon dry lube or some kind of silicone spray would keep the build up from sticking.
update: Thanks, and All Hail Froggy! Got a tub, lubed up my SOS-22 V2, then blew a new asshole on a target at the range using Winchester M-22, my Ruger Charger, and a GSG 110-round drum. Came home, and the crap wiped right off. I followed up with some hot dish detergent and scrubbed the can clean with a nylon brush. Maybe next time I'll dip into some of the bacon grease in the fridge for a smell treat range test. Waddya think?
Nothing wrong with the smell of bacon and gun powder , if someone says different they are not a true friend lol. Awesome glad it worked out for you and appreciate the update
i have the sos-22 v2, great suppressor, but i use Breakfree CLP... my sos cleans out quite shiny, especially since i wipe it w/a thin film before shooting - nice review... may give froggy a try next time
@@NorthFloridaOutdoorsman FYI: submitted Form 4 paperwork via Silencer Shop kiosk June 17, 2019, got my tax stamp and SOS-22 V2 in hand on Sept. 19, 2019 - 96 days! I'm happy now until my Odessa9 comes in.

Thanks, froglube user who is awaiting his first approval.
