Kinescope recordings are very rare and interesting. Thanks to them, we can have an idea of what television was like in its reminiscences: extremely artisanal, which was compensated by determination, willpower and, above all, the talent of the professionals. I believe this is what is missing in current productions, so full of technology and so empty of soul and truth. Thank you very much for the video!

At least you understand what TV of my parents' generation was like.

I think it's so interesting to have a kinescope print and see the details of the TV that was being recorded.

Neat to see a HD scan of a kinescope. Yeah, the scan lines stood out to me when seeing it at such high resolution.

11:50 Chris Allen is a notoriously obscure writer and voice actor. Perhaps her most famous role is Hoppity Hooper, created by Jay Ward. Lloyd Turner worked on both Time For Beany and Hoppity Hooper.

For most of the first 2.5 minutes, Freberg and Butler sound distinctly off-mike, such that Freberg's opening narration gets buried behind the organ. Then with a scene change their voices are right there in front of you. Apparently a mike wasn't plugged in or switched on. But that's live TV for ya.
