Jerky Turkey (1945) 16mm scan Real Full High Definition (FHD) (1080p)
Found this old copy of a certain classic Tex Avery cartoon about everyone's favorite Thanksgiving Turkey in my grandpa's attic, transferred from what I suspect was a film reel that survived several coffee spills.
This is basically what you'd get if you tried to watch animation through a kaleidoscope made of old TV static. FYI, viewing this video counts as an eye exam in 47 states.
Happy Thanksgiving!

The Beatles S1E10 (1965) Intro, commercials, bumpers, and credits (16mm)
มุมมอง 61721 วันที่ผ่านมา
This is from a black and white 16mm TV print. This aired on the ABC network 1965. Dealing with copyright for The Beatles music in this episode is proving very difficult. Even the individual cartoons are being blocked. I had to swap out the actual version of the opening theme (with sound effects) for this version that was used by @thebeatlesvideos01 to avoid it being blocked. However, you can vi...

Heckle & Jeckle Out Again In Again (1948) 16mm
มุมมอง 852หลายเดือนก่อน
Heckle and Jeckle were Paul Terry’s answer to the charismatic characters of Looney Tunes & Tom and Jerry. They were Paul Terry's most popular characters second to Mighty Mouse. True to form, Terrytoons were producing crappy limited (mostly shot of 2s) animation in the mid-forties, close to a decade before WB/MGM transitioned mostly to bad animation. Unwatermarked version available for pateon.co...

Mouse Cleaning (1948) 16mm vs 8mm
มุมมอง 1.9K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Comparison of a 16mm print of Mouse Cleaning (1948) vs an 8mm print of the same cartoon. While the sharpness of the 16mm is superior (probably can't tell on this scale), the color on the 8mm was greatly superior. The before/after of each of these scans: 1) th-cam.com/video/YqAVkJWWVqA/w-d-xo.html (8mm) 2) th-cam.com/video/fFXCWb9iy0I/w-d-xo.html (16mm)

One like=1 respect for the puppet❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Is everybody happy, guess so😊 I guess that everybody is happy😊🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Mutt and Jeff! I love the remastered in color ones.
What’s up with the titles not being replaced?
Reanimated and sound added. Not bad.
Crazy, Huh, With This One!
Impressive!!!
Hey, Pretty Swell, Huh?
So the kid's dead? :(
Why do I hear boss music?
Can't they fly?
6:25 I wonder who's going to win this fight at the end of this cartoon
Thanks 🙏❤️I Love it 🌹🌷💖💕💞
Wow, Huh?

The original fantasia
Happy Soon-To-Be Winter, Everyone!
epic quality
It's funny how the bulk of the dialogue and the animation are timed directly to the beat and the music
So pink lips = racist If we took this design and removed the pink lips then it would be normal, right?
A good copy of the film that doesn't give Disney a nickel!
It hurts even more that the ocn or original print is lost to time
You forgot Booby Socks by Screen Gems and Swooning the Swooners by Terrytoons.
WOW ! Frank Sinatra is Even Skinnier than Olive Oyl 1:20 . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The fact that this came out during the Great Depression probably made it more relatable.
Old school cartoon betty boop type
That text animation is absolutely amazing.
I wonder if actual convicts ever saw this and what did they make of it?
The Toon Force is strong with Sylvester in this one, walking up the air like it's a staircase!
"Hello, Murda Incopolated?"
Why would Popeye want to join the army when he's already in the Navy?
I'll admit it, I like this cartoon, and I can see what Clampett was trying to, but man, even I can't deny that these stereotypes are BAD.
At least they’ve restored the original ending titles.
Cool restoration not an animation historian

Thanks for the Recreation.
That thumbnail looked far better then this.
It seems that the only thing in HD are the scratches, the dirt and the artifacts of the tape itself, it looks like you rescaled a small image to a larger resolution
Não coma no Joe's, amigo!
Impressionantemente e incrivelmente clássico e maravilhoso, não acha?
Wouldn't be surprised if THIS was the copy used on those low-rent PD tapes.
Also, what's with the removal of the "in Technicolor" text on the bottom of the MGM titles?
It’s not a Technicolor print, legally had to black it out.
But what print is this, though?
It’s probably an Eastman print but IDK.
Starting in the 1950s, Technicolor had strict conditions on how their trademark would appear in films. Over concerns that duplicate prints made on Eastmancolor or any other competing color process would not replicate the vibrant quality that Technicolor was known for, any studio or TV distributor that was making dupes off of Technicolor negatives had to black out said trademark from the titles. This is also the same reason NTA censored out the Technicolor line on the Paramount cartoons they owned.
Now *that* is what I call a Thanksgiving classic.
