The pianist that introduces them is the legendary David Foster who composed The Prayer and so many other legendary hits. The event in Las Vegas was built around him and all the performers were invited by him. He said introducing Lara to another song in the same event : "I’m gonna introduce you to someone… It’s gonna blow your mind ! Her voice, well, I can only describe it as heavenly. When she burst onto the scene, we couldn’t believe what we were hearing, it was a voice like from another planet or something! She made her mark here and then she conquered Europe where she has lived for most of her life. I’m so fortunate to live in a world of great voices but believe me this voice is at the top of the heap of great voices. (…) Wait til you hear this woman sing. Please welcome … Lara Fabian!" David is canadian as Lara and he produced her for a rendition of the Canadian National Anthem, probably one of the best ever. Michael Bolton also is an absolute fan of Lara. He said after this event: « Lara has recorded with me a duet, The Prayer, that David Foster wrote and produced. She flew in miraculously through Paris, strikes, flights delays and all hours of travel, to arrive just in time to perform with me at the David Foster and Friends event. Besides being an absolutely beautiful woman and one of the most warmest sincere people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet, Lara has been blessed with a phenomenal voice and spirit that makes her clearly one of the wonders of the world. She sings from the deeper part of her heart with divine tones, and whenever she wants such power, she takes flight and elevates everyone watching and listening. Seal and I stuck up to the side of the stage to watch her sing "Caruso" and were both blown away, as was the audience. »
Very beautiful duet. Michael’s raspy voice really fits Lara’s crystalline one. Her notes seem so effortless, bc her breath control is something else. He seemed to be struggling a bit, especially in the end.

Thank you for your news. -- Lara is unbelievable: she finds ways to do her old songs in different way: (Tpulouse). I like this version of Ta peine very much. -- Lara is my discovery of this year as well and I am grateful for that.
I would really like to hear Johnathan Antoine sing this with Laura Fabian. Even at 17 he could blow the roof off, and his two-language take on this classic (with Charlotte, his muse) on BGT made him famous. Thanks for your reaction. 👍
David Foster, the pianist who talked at the end, is a Canadian record producer, and general big deal. Lara was on her European tour when invited to Foster's bash, and took the redeye flight to make her appearances in the show. Michael Bolton just released a Christmas message, thanking his fans for their support as he recovers from a brain tumor. The original of this song with Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli definitely featured Italian.
I was never a big Bolton fan, he always sounded so tensed and strained, but he does sound really nice with Lara. It was a brilliant pairing on David Foster's part. I like this version better than Andrea and Celine's, but that's because of Lara, of course.
I love both of these performers individually but for me this didn’t really work as a duet because they were not singing to each other but the audience.
This is also with Italian. Of course Andrea Bocelli is also italian : Helene Fischer, Andrea Bocelli - The Prayer (Live - Die Helene Fischer Show ) th-cam.com/video/mI0x97D8N8g/w-d-xo.html
This was wonderful. But my favorit performance of this song is Andrea Bocelli and Helene Fischer (she is a huge mega star in germany). It is awsome. I would love to see your reaction to this song th-cam.com/video/mI0x97D8N8g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-xAUf3hx44Ob9Klz

Γλυκιά lauren . Happy birthday merry Christmas. Lara is the music queen of beauty and our hearts. If , is the voice from another planet.❤
Lara ❤

I'd say he did a great job though! Considering his age and man's voice
Happy new year Raquel 😊
@@damianvc31 Oh, yes. He certainly did a great job. Happy New Year to you too, Damian! 🤗
Love Lara ❤️
Love from Denmark ❤️
Love this song, this is a beautiful version, the Marcelito Pomoy version is also amazing
Lara has been the discovery of the year for me
What a talent
Two pros can fit their voices together, I like it...
honestly, you might be surprised. I've heard some voices that DO NOT work. No matter how professional, sometimes people just...don't gel.
@@AmericansLearn True, I think some singers don't perform together, but kind of have "battle of voices" among each other.
Lara is The Queen of Resonance and vowel coordination. She is The Ring. The perfect singer.

Wonderful duo ❤❤❤❤

Our Beautiful Queen ❤. But even if I love Michael Bolton, my dream would be to listen at this song performed by Andrea Bocelli and Lara Fabian.

a natural-sounding Lara singing the unadorned song “we are the flyers”.
