See any motel will be costly, I personally recommend that you find a travel partner, like WhatsApp group, so you both can share room in the beginning otherwise it's close to 1100 dollars per month
I will be coming to Kamloops on August 2023 and my classes will start from September. I cannot find On-Campus Housing and I also can't afford expensive rents. Could you please help me find contacts or whatsapp groups where I could find and share room wirh other students like me? Too much stressed of accommodation. Your help would be appreciated.

Your best bet would be any motel for now, it would be very difficult to get a room from your home country, come here and then explore your options

At this moment not possible, keep looking on kijiji, and fb pages.
U can also apply to the residences and u might get it in 1 or 2 months
