I just love getting a translation of how that legendary trio commentated games. In my experience "western" BW commentators, would never shout out bombastic lines, dripping of poetry, like: "Homeland..these are the last protoss warriors who will not be able to return home!" or "Though this might just be a video game...these units...these units are alive!" So fascinating and i love it!
Those were some great lines yeah. I loved them back when i was watching live and I still love them
It gives me the shivers every time I watch this game. I remember seeing it in live with a friend, we were shocked, we could not believe what we just saw.
Thanks for the translations, really interesting to see what the commentators were saying during this legendary game.
Also I didn't know about the UMS which replicates this battle, so funny and sad for ZerO haha
Those commentary really adds a whole new layer to this game. Without it it's an very impressive comeback, but with the context it's probably the greatest comeback in PvZ history, if not all of BW.
So appreciative of you translating the commentary for the entire game! Thank you!
This is sick! Thanks for translating these older highlights from the KESPA era!
This game was so crazy, I still remember watching it live. Good job on the video!
One of the most memorable and greatest PvZ's of all time. I personally rank it 2nd behind Jaedong vs Stork on Match Point. I used that game to sell BW to so many of my friends back in the day.
That was a sick game too!
I enjoyed it 11 years ago and enjoy it now. Almigthy JangBi!
I saw this game for the 1st time when jinjin translated a clip of Flash playing vs Zero as protoss.
After Flash defeated Zero and opened his stream. He saw Zero mentally and emotionally destroyed watching this exact PvZ vs Jangbi 😂
Amazing content. Bw is best esports
Thanks a lot my man, you make my day with these videos and your translations.
My pleasure!
Wow, what a great game. Thanks for uploading this!
I won't be surprised if Zero (Queen) will be haunted by this game vs Jangbi untill the end of days
As a matter of fact, people sometimes make jokes about that when Queen loses to an ubsurd Protoss rush. Saying that he's losing because of PTSD lol
🤣@@okso
AI upscaled version soon? Pog
wow first time with commentary. Awesome thank you!!
GOOD! Why does it look so smooth? Are frames interpolated?
Yes, the resolution is upscaled to HD while the frames are also boosted to 60 fps!
nuts
Do you have a link to the UMS? Thanks for the translation, epic game. Too bad Jangbi retired ;;
Yeah sure thing, click on the scx file at the bottom! m.blog.naver.com/congdanhyunsang/221031145255
I watched the game a few times. I really don't understand how Jangbi managed to win. After he lost his natural, it looked like a Zerg win 100%. Yet somehow, Jangbi pushed at the perfect moment and had the most godly storms. Truly an epic game and will go down as the best PvZ game ever televised. By the way, how long did it take for you to translate the commentators? Must have been hours!
The protoss army was too high tech. The unit composition of zealots, dragoons, high templars and archons was up against nothing but hydralisks and lurkers. JangBi needed to hold on and survive until he could go on the offensive with his superior army. Zero failed to stop JangBi's tech growth, so JangBi won.
JangBi at his peak was just so good. I miss him so much
@@oksoA shame that this was the last OSL. Had it continued, Jangbi would have had a great chance to get that first golden mouse for Protoss.
What do people shout before every game starts?
They usually say the player's name and follow it up with shouting "Paiting!!!!" which we Koreans pronounce as Hwaiting!!!. Is a Korean word of encouragement and support and we borrowed that word from the english word 'Fighting'
because it is fucking cool
He explained it perfectly
