@Pyro Xomby "MCU isn't any better". The hell U talking about? Guardians of the galaxy is amazing. I loved the cap trilogy, all the avengers movies were amazing except age of Ultron honestly. Iron man 1 was good, Thor 1 and Ragnarok were great, there has only been 2 movies that I haven't really enjoyed, captain marvel and Thor The Dark World. This is all my opinion and U also have ur opinion which the majority of people would disagree with. Also have U seen how much money they make?

There's a difference between a workaholic and unhealthy amounts of work. That's why we've seen youtubers starting to take breaks every now and then, and making less videos every week. Putting some time to themselves so they don't work themselves to death. Everyone should do that

@@Ventusm You only need basic observation skills to see that there is a divide in Lucasfilm, at the very least with the way they produce their projects. And no, Disney is in a precarious place right now. The next couple of years will absolutely determine the future of star wars.

If anyone sees this, the proof that Luke's school is YEARS after he meets Grogu is as follows. In canon, Luke trained Leia after the battle of Endor (4ABY) until she got pregnant with Ben. Ben was born on the day the Galactic Empire was officially dissolved, in 5 ABY. The Mando series starts 5 years after the Battle of Endor, so 9 ABY. Ben is 4 years old at the beginning of the Mando series, and it wasn't until he was 10-11 that Luke started training him.
In canon, Luke's Jedi Academy was destroyed by Ben in 28 ABY, meaning Ben was 23 years old then. In Legends the Academy was created prior to the "Mission to Elphrona" which was 15-25 ABY. Mando season 1 and 2 both occur in 9 ABY, so all sides show that Luke creates his Academy in or after 15 ABY, or 6 years minimum after Luke meets Grogu.
Btw, for everyone contemplating whether Grogu or Ben is Luke's first apprentice... Neither are, Leia was.

@@marcosmc3709 "was" implies it's already happened. We have not seen any actual training yet anywhere, just him being carried away by Luke. We are all assuming Luke trains him, but it could be that Grogu refuses training. Let's not forget that neither Leia or Ben actually finished their training with Luke, meaning in canon none of Luke's apprentices ever passed their trials and actually became a Jedi. Even Rey had to finish training with Leia, who wasn't even a Jedi.

WHAT if the sequels are in a different universe, we’ve been shown that time and space can be bended in the World Between Worlds. Ezra saved Ashoka which means she would be alive to tell Mando where the seeing stone is to call for a Jedi (Luke). And obviously the remnants of the empire are after Grogu for his blood, which I think we all know is make a force sensitive clone (Snoke) so palpatine may return. What if Ashoka wasn’t saved, allowing the empire to take Grogu and Luke was never alerted of Grogu’s presence, thus having access to Midichlorian filled blood from Grogu. However Luke saved them and took on Grogu as his first true apprentice, exactly 6 years before he starts to train Ben. The only reason luke found Grogu was because of Ashoka, is she the key? In the rise of skywalker we heard her voice as a force ghost, but she wouldn’t be dead seeing as she’s around 40 in the Mandalorian. So maybe that’s a timeline of when Ashoka died by Vader’s hands and never escaped the Sith monolith.
We can only hope for this to be true my friend...

@@marcosmc3709 It's like you have used the force to see into Dave Filoni's mind. Totally love the theory and makes complete sense. At the moment Ezra saved Ashoka started a new timeline, I believe there will also be negative consequences in this Filoni-Verse timeline in which Thrawne has also survived to become even more powerful in this new timeline. This will make Ezra the only one who has seen both timelines, I think this will make him a mystical all knowing character pivotal to the success of the heroes ala Dr Strange in Avengers Infinity War/Endgame. Ezra could also be driven bit mad with the guilt of changing fates, Ultimately saving Ashoka will prove essential as you outlined in your theory but maybe in doing so has changed the fates of others and Ezra could struggle with this potentially.

"I am excited for Acolyte" Aren't you worried about Kathleen Kenedy's involvement on Acolyte? It's just something I am taking into consideration about the Disney/Star Wars montre. With the Sequels being what they are, I am worried that the story of Acolyte will be second over pushing the "Strong female badass character" agenda. This isn't meant to be sexist or anything, I just want to well thought out, well told story with Character arcs that make sense. So far Kathleen Kenedy has given none of that.

I respect both of your casual and honest impressions of the Light of the Jedi. I've read over 200+ Legends & majority of Canon books myself and I absolutely loved it from start to finish! I thought it's a perfect new chapter for a new major series. 👍👍
I too have read All the Legends material. But I have to disagree Light of the Jedi was bad. Really bad. I'd rather re-read Galaxy of Fear, or the Jedi Prince garbage.

Heads up Mark Thompson makes the Audio book of the Light of the Jedi really exciting at least as far as I thought. I look forward to the next book but I usually do star wars books as Audio books now.
Volumes is so low on Josh’s end dude. Have to turn it up and then theory speaks and it’s booming. Makes it a bit unwatchable.

I did wonder whether a lot of the problem is the way Josh speaks into the mic. He tends to have the mic to the side of his mouth which isn’t the ideal position as your voice isn’t directed in the best way. If you look at theory’s set up his mic is directly in front and below his mouth where the sound is directly pointing to the mic. Not a mic expert but seems to make a bit of sense to me.

Feige would probably be a bad pick for star wars. The reason Feige has done so well with Marvel is that he's really passionate about it. The MCU was his idea. As far as I know, he doesn't particularly care about star wars. This just feels like it would be a dumb reactionary coorporate move.

If midichloriana reside in cells and are required for the Force to “function,” then it absolutely stands to reason that some organisms may have evolved in such a way as to not have midichlorians, or perhaps more likely they would manufacture some antagonist to midichlorians, and therefore exist as “voids” in the Force, such that attempts to use the Force on them in any way would be literally impossible. It would be analagous to the natural defenses of many plants and animals in the form of toxins. Take, for example, the nightshade family of plants, solanaceae, to which potatos belong. The solanine produced by these plants is a toxin specifically manufactured to reduce the ability of other organisms to compete with or prey upon the organism which produces it; it’s the same thing, an example of coevolution: the antagonists exists to counter the midichlorians. Perhaps they evolved alongside the Sith alchemy-created hssiss as a counter to their enhancement.
But, one could use the Force to manipulate things around such a creature in order to affect the Force-immune creature.
As for being able to create a sort of “anti-Force bubble” as ysalamiri are supposed to do, in the case of an antagonist microorganism to midichlorians, it is less believable but also possible.

Yeah, it's that in capability to balance action description, world building, and actually connection and growth to characters.
I understand Disney wants their own era of Star Wars but imagine if they made an animated series or live action show about the start of the Jed'aii Order. This would teach the early stages of The Force (the light side - Ashla, the dark side - Bogan). It would also inform the fans about the planet Tython. And then this would be a great launching point for THE KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC. Fans would go NUTS!!!!

@StarWarsTheory Dash Lore covered the video yesterday about the world between world's retconning the sequel trilogy. It's stated that Grogu and Ezra are the key components to this happening.

I personally, am liking Light of the Jedi. Each to their own. I’d stick with it Theory....... but listen to the audiobook. The enhance the experience a lot!
As far as the World between worlds what I am to understand is that essentially all things that happen in Star Wars will happen it’s just that in the world between worlds you’re able to let’s say change the perspective in which things happened .
Like everything is on a single timeline it’s just The order in which things occur or occurred could be viewed differently it’s kind of hard to explain but think of it like rewriting something that was already written while keeping the basis of what was originally written.
The story still plays out the same but the characters places things hell even objects may have occurred out of order or all together in a different form but representing the same aspect at the end .
it’s Basically balancing the light and the dark by essentially showing you what would occur if any decision is made within the Star Wars universe .
basically the world between worlds is showing you the final outcome whether you choose good or bad .
that’s kind of why the world between worlds episode goes over a lot of peoples heads .
because like I just try to explain it’s very difficult lol but essentially that’s why Ahsoka is still alive and did not die and also why mori is accompanying her .
essentially what we witnessed as the sequel trilogy is the way that the future will play out at some point but Ahsoka now being alive currently with mori we could view the sequel trilogy in a way that differs from how we are originally thought .
that we viewed it and now through someone else we will view the sequel trilogy .
Duhhhhhhh..... I knew Ezra saving Ahsoka was the retcon. She went back inside the temple at the end of the episode. From there she went into hiding. I assumed she would have re-visited TWOW and went the moment of death start death, and essence transfer, and ended him in his new presents. So she could retcon further back in the timeline. Re-entering at the point of the Endor, Death Star destruction celebration, perhaps providing more force presence, enough to Han and Leia to have twins. You know Jacen and Jaina Solo? Who knows, maybe she did and went back in to look for Thrawn who may have tricked or trapped Ezra in TWOW or something as such. THAT'S how you set things straight and leave the trilogy as is. Get back on track with the Legends Universe (Filoniverse), The "real" Luke, etc. Ahsoka Lives!
Young Yoda needs to carry High Republic
I personally thought Light of the Jedi was awesome. Maybe it's because I listened to the audiobook, but I thought it all played really well. The villains are pretty cool where we leave them off and I really like Greatstorm and his padawan Bell.
Also, Some of your criticisms get addressed in the rest of the book. The characters you meet in the beginning of the novel do matter. Just hang in there.
Man I wish I could hear Josh talk. He has some good points a lot of the time.
Robert Pattinson wasn’t literally “not working out” for Batman. It was his way of saying he’s not taking steroids like every other actor in a similar role. He was talking about how unhealthy it is in Hollywood and he couldn’t actually say it it was all just a sly stab at everyone. He took his time and did it the right way

It was my understanding that Feige was brought in to ensure that SHR (Kennedy project) wouldnt bomb. After that he would move on to his own stuff as usual.

we all want the Yuuzhan Vong War but in the rendition that han is dead etc , not following legends, do a trilogy on the Vong war, Open this story in star wars, even if its not suitable for kids, for obvious reasons, or is 365 trillion deaths not significant enough for disney to create this crucial part of starwars?
They have to establish a whole new set of characters for that. They have plenty of time to set it up.

The problem with academic terms like “toxic masculinity” is they don’t translate well to colloquial language. They work perfectly in modes of critical thinking, because they describe perfectly complex dynamics. Unless regular folks have a deep understanding of the terms, they just don’t do great in normal use.
So, I want to know what happened to EA saying they're coming out with a ton of new SW titles in the coming years?
In reference to the spirit bomb part. All ive known about the force is thats weve only seen the Jedi being cut off from the force. Weve only ever seen Palpatine and vader. Maybe back then without that and with all jedi being so connected together, maybe theyve been able to utilize the force with thousands of years of practice and knowledge. Free flowing without restrictions. Maybe Anakin (before vader) was able to be on that level but only him. Imgine thousands of anakin level jedi. The posssibilites are endless with that power?
