Prepping your miniature for contrast paints

Some tips for laying the foundation down on your miniature for contrast paints. Slapchop is the way to go. I’ve found with the excellent Vallejo Xpress contrast paints, a simple white drybrush over gray primer is good enough.

Great overview of the process. All I can add is I buy makeup brushes at the Dollar Tree to use for my white dry brushing step. They last a while and I beat them up in the process.
