We like to play a game at dinner with my kids (6 & 8) called highlight lowlight. Everyone shares a high point of the day and a low point of the day. Though they call it “favorite thing and least favorite thing”. What’s always amazing is they can almost always think of the best thing but most days they struggle to think of anything bad. They’re so cute and not yet jaded.
It made me happy to hear how effortlessly James said highlights of his day were coming home and seeing you. That’s what keeps a partnership good, no matter if your interests are similar or not.

I did look it up, mixed martial arts fighting. My youngest who is 23 does karate, he's hoping to get 2nd Dan this year, he does grappling and weight training, he loves it. He very often comes home bashed up. He even managed to get a bruise on his eyelid because it got bent up! There's no chance of me going to watch! Me and hubby have no hobbies in common, but lots of other things xx
Things that made me happy today are that Fat Fluffs (a rabbit charity) have a date to take in our two bunnies Percy and Colin and rebond them as they are not friends and we have to keep them apart at the minute. Your vlog made me happy, (James saying “those triangles” for shawls 😂) Having time to have a pot of tea rather than a cup with my breakfast (current favourite is Aldi biscuit tea) Bit stressed as I rashly promised to turn up my daughters bridesmaids dresses (chiffon etc) and regretting that now so I’m taking small things as a win at the minute.
Well, I’m hard pushed to find anything that makes me happy today - it has poured all day long and yesterday and the day before. But your vlog has made me happy. Looked for Horlicks in Tesco but could only find the chocolate one. Heigh ho, tomorrow is a new day. Sorry about the van Paula. Xx

Once before, you asked if anyone had tried one of your recommendations... well I took the one about Lhasa Apsos and you were right. They are brilliant dogs, our Puppy will be 1 this month.
