I've tried ripples and I normally mess up and get discouraged. I've wanted to make one and watched one you did. I got my yarn and this one popped up. I have several bins of old scrap yarn, mostly caron simply soft. I'm on row no 3! Woo hoo! Yes, I did 2 valkeys on first row but quickly fixed it. Can't wait to finish this! Thankyou!

I have 4 colors of yarn in 4 weight I bought a coupe yrs ago to make a blanket for my son but couldn’t crochet, was trying to decide what pattern to use. Was thinking granny squares.. but now thinking this!!! I might do lingerie rows of one color tho… like 6 rows then switch colors …
It’s black, creme, navy, and gold…
That’s what he liked back then.. he’s changed colors since, but I’m not buying all new yarn!!!
I’m sure he’ll love it!! Maybe I’ll have enough to do a pillow or two also.. or a small blankie for his little dog Ace!!
