Ahh... those derailed cars were not movie props, they actually hauled freight (beer) and went over the side... Not to mention those cars are far too modern for Hollywood movies of that era.
Lots of other great facts in your video though.
The Impossible Railroad is a true engineering marvel, thank you for the video!

Must have had a slight oversight during the research phase. Appreciate the information!

Interesting. Very brave to go into a dark hole without knowing if there was anything scarey hiding.

When was the last train to run on the line ? Could a train still run on the line ?

The last time it was used was in the 1980s I believe. The track isn't in good enough condition to run anything over any extended distance anymore.

@@MasonObscura On the wikipedia page it says the last time it was used was in 2008. I am very surprised it lasted that long

@@stevenwoerpel1884 Thats true, they were doing small local passenger trips, but from what I researched, all commercial traffic that went beyond the local area had ceased around the 80's. Either way, it's an impressive engineering feat.

@@MasonObscura Oh that makes sense. I cannot imagine any kind of modern train passing over this bridge.

High production values, poor screenwriting. Also the title is clickbait
