When I played the wind and time quest, I knew venti was istraroth's new incarnation (like nahida and rukkhadevata) or istraroth was Venti's mother. I think there's evidence supporting both theories but I personally love the mother-son one the most. This is such a beautiful but slight unsettling animation. You are able to convey that mother's fear of the unknown future of their child even though istraroth does know Venti's future.

Unless you suggesting the same scenario of Irminsul happened, where the world forget Istraroth? But then the artifacts wouldn't have remembered her, nor does it sound like Irminsul was accesible to anyone but Rukkhadevata.
I've been needing more lore related content for Venti for so long, I can't believe I'm only finding this animatic now! The lyrics fit so well with the visuals, and I never thought much about how Venti and Istaroth are connected, but them having something like a familial bond makes a lot of sense to me

She's basically a celestial being known as the God of Time, but she's also known to have the might of a thousand winds. Because Venti's a "thread of the Thousand Winds," many speculate Venti is her child. I usually thought of them as good friends till I found out in Weinlesefest that Venti manipulates the winds of the past (aka uses time magic) to remind some Mondstadters of key moments in their lives. There's a lot more lore about her, but looking into the Sun and Moon book as well as stuff in the Time and Wind story quest and the Thousand Winds temple could help you learn more.
This is so underrated it's insane. The art and cinematography is gorgeous, and I love all the lore you packed into this. Istaroth comes off as both benevolent and frighteningly powerful, as she's depicted in-game, and it's still ambiguous as to how much Venti is involved in her affairs. Did you model her after the statue of the goddess in Inazuma?

This is so underrated it's insane. The art and cinematography is gorgeous, and I love all the lore you packed into this. Istaroth comes off as both benevolent and frighteningly powerful, as she's depicted in-game, and it's still ambiguous as to how much Venti is involved in her affairs. Did you model her after the statue of the goddess in Inazuma?
yeah the “statue of the omnipresent god” in inazuma is often theorized to be istatoth

I have watched this for a couple of times by now. I’m still trying to take in ever scene of this animatic. Also I think I saw Paimon in one of the scenes or at least a version of her. The scene with the person that has a primogem looks like Paimon and then the scene after it has a seelie. I’m curious on what you think about Paimon actually. I really like your use of colors.
That was actually the girl on the Welkin Moon! Honestly, with how many viable answers there are, Paimon could be anyone at this point. She could be a Moon Sister, another fragment of Istaroth, a seelie, or heck even an ELF from Honkai, so who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's mostly scattered in a lot of descriptions and Time and Wind mentions, but most of the God of Time's lore could be found in the Enkanomiya books and quests, as well as the Sacrificial weapons
