Dammit, I just know that as soon as I pull the trigger on Nocturne, she'll be the third card in that Sable cache or something. My dragon brain will be so sad at the lost value!!
Of course the two weeks I was looking at get 3 star ratings lol. But I think Marvel Boy/Blob/Red Hulk are all just great to have. Coming back to the game after 8 months away, I’ve been really impressed with Red Hulk. It’s a card that has felt harder to compete against than most things. And then Scarlet Spider I’m really excited about with Symbiote Spider-Man. And just a buff style deck in general. Even with Sersei.
As far as changing the Emporer Hulkling week to steal better cards from other caches that month, I don't think we have to worry about the speed/iron lad/jeff week changing. That is the whole shark/Jeff week that Second Dinner is planning. Iron lad has jeff variant that week, so unlikely they will want to swap that or jeff out of his own week.
There are way too many damn series 5 cards right now. I was shocked when I returned to the game two weeks ago to see it is nearly doubled the amount of series 4 cards.
Poor Hydra Bob week...got a 2/6 rating...jokes aside, I really wish we had more of the "returning" card weeks, even if it's one week per quarter or something
If you do want to use your dragon brain and optimize tokens. IMO how I normally do it is save till 12,000 tokens. With that amount I can safely buy a series 5 I would be interested in while still having enough for a card that would surprise me with how good it is
I took a three month break earlier this year and missed some cards that are staples in a lot of scenarios. Specifically cards I'm looking to acquire are: Hope, Pixie, White Widow, Nocturne, and Red Guardian. Hope and Pixie I plan to open for this month and next, and I'm currently sitting on 6k tokens. I'm leaning towards White Widow even though she'll be in a cache in September because I enjoy a good clutter deck from time to time (I regretfully spent my last 6k tokens on Cannonball a few weeks before he was indirectly nerfed). That said, I feel like Nocturne and Red Guardian are the more generally useful cards, so I'm having trouble deciding which way to go. Anyone have any thoughts?
More than year of absence from Snap, and just as I jump back in, Jeff is here to provide excellent analysis and advice. Truly a pillar of the community, thanks for all the great content!
I can't see your reply here, but in the YT notification showed you saying that it was a Pandart variant, but it isn't! xD They are different! It confused me when they leaked the variants too haha
Hydra Bob feels like he makes Miles playable in Zoo decks. Maybe including Jeff as a backup enabler. That's about the only thing I can really say positively about him. He's WAY too unpredictable and I think there are just better late turn plays than him.
I've been out of the game since early black swan season. I'm overwhelmed lol. I owned basically everything up until then and still have 20k tokens and 20 keys. I'm trying to figure out what cards. I need lol
Would you say Makari is archetype-defining for moon girl decks? Seems really good for hand thinning. Arana and Madam web seems really good for move, can't wait! p.s. Quallity content as always💪
@@HooglandiaSnap It’s all good, think nothing of it. I was mostly just surprised since where I live most folks take Spanish in high school and would therefore be familiar with the enya letter in her name. But totally understandable if you never had that exposure.
There is an upcoming gold bundle for I think 7k gold that has 6k tokens 2k credits and destroyer variant. This may be the best we're gonna get now so get it if you can
Even then, Phoenix Force is the more flexible part of that package. I've seen some Move variations of Phoenix and, more recently, Loki variations of Phoenix.
@@insane8987 I genuinely can't wrap my head around how Phoenix Force Loki works. I'll need to see a Regis video or something. I don't get the play line. It sounds like playing. Silver Surfer and Annihlus together and it working. Just so crazy
@@justinwaller9665Since you can play her earlier and Arishem wants to focus on single big plays each turn, it's a lot easier for Namora to get her full effect at almost no cost. She's really, really good in Arishem, don't knock it before you try it
@@justinwaller9665 namora can be a 4th turn 16 power drop in arishem decks if you set her up by having 2 solo cards in each other location. I can see both nocturne and namora having their use in arishem
Yah the problem with random 6 cost cards is that most 6 costs are cards that you build your deck around. Thats why fury is only playable in ari but that’s it. Hulkling could be good in ari but thats probably the only deck.
This is sort of right. When you draw Copycat, she'll take an effect from their deck. This is not revealed to the opponent, so they will not know what was stolen. However, as soon as you actually play Copycat, they can read her and know what effect was stolen, and, consequently, what card they will never draw because it's at the bottom of their deck.
@@quocanhnguyen8000it's not an on reveal, it's an on draw. Howard already hides info from your opponent. Running turns simultaneously let's them not truly time the interactions the same. Same for the animations at the beginning of the game (High Evo, Arishem, Thanos, Uatu)
The reason she seems like she will be powerful is because she has good cube equity as she gives you info your opponent doesn’t. For example: she steals shang, now you have a 3 5 shang your opponent doesn’t know about. And you don’t have to play around shang.
Silver Sable week updated to have US Agent as the last card in it. Fantastic week!
In a post-Arishem world there is no need for opening caches or spending tokens. Just believe and Arishem will provide.
Have you heard the good news about our lord and savior Arishem?
Amenishem
🙏🏿 I believe
I really appreciate the last section on spending tokens on cards outside of any spotlights. People dont do that as much
You'll always find that in my reviews here!
@@HooglandiaSnap Me too, I really needed to hear that. Thank you!
The tilde over the n (~) in Arana's name is pronounced like Nya. So her name is pronounced Aran-ya
Another suggestion on pronunciating the ñ that could work is thinking like a "gn" in lasagna: Aragna.

Wait til you hear him pronounce Caiera. Lol
He can't even pronounce Sersi correctly I wouldn't expect much 😂

It really hurts missing out Mockingbird for so long, she’s good in every deck I enjoy playing - definitely not waiting until September, RIP 6k tokens

She's gotten a lot better with Gwenpool as well now.
Wiccan seems like the only crucial one:
100% spewing 3-4 keys on the july 23rd spotlight. (1 copycat looks really fun (2 don’t have cull and thanos

Where did Cassandra Nova go? Wasn't she in earlier datamimes?
She will be one of the rewards in the new Deadpool's Diner game mode coming out on July 23rd.
Would someone here recommend getting thanos if you lack a lot of the staple series 5 cards?
Thanos opens up a new and fun way to compete, hes not meta but he is still good
After getting thanos i recommended blob for better result
Did Jeff just diss Galactus and Nimrod right after I earned my first Infinity Conquest win using them? 😢
It's not about personal experience. You can beat Infinity Conquest using a deck that includes Kang but that still doesn't make him good.
