Hi! I just started using this button machine TODAY, and I couldn't figure out the pin alignment thing, either! You just saved me hours of investigating! I was able to make 40 buttons with 9 failures, which isn't terrible for my first time. Thank you ^^

lol wow you went as far as contacting the manufacturer...well im glad I was able to help because I know the feeling and after having no luck on TH-cam I had to figure it out on my own

I JUST got this machine for a much smaller sized button and sat here wondering what in the world I was doing wrong because it was not catching a all! So I hit TH-cam and found your video and I have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for this trouble shooting video because I had the SAME problem with the spring issue and things not catching. You're amazing for this! Thank you again!

Thank you so much for your help! I’m rusty with using my button maker and forgot that the little protruding plastic parts weren’t supposed to go through the holes so my buttons weren’t pressing.
THANK YOU! This helped me figure out what was wrong real quick. Especially the part about the pins and being misaligned/not wanting them to line up! The crimping was giving me a head ache. LOL Thank you!!!
I do not have the words to thank you! I was determined to get the mild to press all the way down and spent 1 hour “fixing” it! Looks like I’m just gonna have to do the opposite now :)

Hello Nurse242: the reason your machine has a problem is the right hand mold. It is on your machine back to front. That guide bar sticking up should be at the back. Once it is you will find the plate with the holes moves automatically to the same positions you were having to move it to by hand. I can appreciate how someone has fitted it the wrong way round because the translation of the instructions the machine comes with is so diabolical it is literally gibberish. Another check is that the 58mm marking on the press head should be dead central when the right hand mold is under it.
mine wont crimp on one side every singe time in the same place cant work out whats wrong

I have the same button maker, and I'm still having trouble with picking up the first piece (top of button). I'm unable to turn the piece discussed at 2:50 because one of the pieces that goes thru the holes is too tall and is staying in the hole

My mylar is splitting at the back of the badge where it is crimped into the back almost like its been cut, i am using correct size paper and one mylar sheet, there are no sharp points on my plastic backs or the machine, i dont know whats wrong 😭

I stumbled apon your video when looking up helpful tips on the vevor button press. I am still learning (just got mine) what have you learned is the best paper to use for the picture? I tried cardstock and realized it may be too thick and so it will not seal properly. Is just white printer paper the best? I'm trying to turn my daughters artwork into buttons. I would love any help!
Hiiii awesome! So the paper thickness does make a difference, I find that the regular printing paper does work quite well....and I love the idea of using her artwork

Hello, I have the same machine as you do except the 25mm I have a “problem” sometimes the plastic wrapper is not so smooth around the edges - was just wondering if that happens to you or anyone else knows how to fix that or why it happens? Thank you :)
I think you may just have to press a little harder or make slight adjustments. So sorry for the late response you may have figured it out by now

Yes that happens sometimes, not sure why. Just ensure that you’re pressing down as much as you can
I’ve been using mine for awhile and now it’s jammed. The button is stuck inside. How do I get it out??
Try using a magnet
That must be go automaticly.
When it doesn't, it's means that youre press machine isn't correctly assembled.
You can solved that yourself.
