it's depends on working environment to chose inbetween 24VDC or 230VAC and Orifice size of SOV also play important roll for speed of operation for bigger actuator. In my plant 500mm stroke cylinder also operating with 24VDC and we are using booster to increase cylinder speed ...
For my purposes is hand loom jacquard lift ,jacquard lift weights approximately 25 to 30kg with continuous working 40mm bore cylinder having 25 kg lifting capacity with24vdc solenoid valve kindly suggest me

Use good company sov and if not operating properly then increase cylinder bore 40mm to 60 or 80mm...

24V, 48V, 110V and 230V working principle of SOV are almost same, coil resistance and current will change according to selected voltage....
