I can’t wait for her to be cross examined. I believed her for so long until this came to court and it makes me feel so stupid. Also its clear that she’s taking advantage of the fact that he was under the influence and can be seen as a unreliable witness to his actions…. But it’s very clear that she’s grasping for straws and trying to claw her way out. She reminds me of 2 of my abusers and it just makes me sick.

everyone believed her. The entire world pointed fingers at jonny depp the second that demon opened her mouth. This is how the world treats men and women. This is what feminism teaches the world, that men are guilty until proven innocent and that women are beautiful innocent angels. Only because of this trial and because of how obvious it is that amber is a witch does the world believe him now. Before we could see these 2 people in "private", people believed the woman first.
But amber is a awful actor compared to other female abusers. Trust me that i know women who could sit in that chair give off a much much better performance than her. And these women manage to abuse their boyfriends or husbands for years until they manage to cut them off, and they have to live with the consequences after that (like being hated by their children because the mother taught them so).
I consider it a miracle that people, including the press actually realize whats going on between the two. I expected this to go the other way. I expected amber to give off this cringe-worthy testimony like she does in this video, and with the world respond with "oh my good look at this poor woman and her tears, it breaks my heart, depp is a monster!" and me vomiting in circles after everything is over.
I still cannot believe that jonny, a known drunk who reguarly does drugs too, is getting justice, even though hes facing a ATTRACTIVE, PRETTY, WEALTHY and FAMOUS woman. This shouldnt be possible because it almost never ever happens this way. Women like these instantly have half of the world population on her side because half the world population is female..
I think she fooled a lot of people in the beginning. What bothers me the most now is that the big companies like Loreal Disney ,Warner and the mainstream medias keep on backing her up just because they won't recognize they've made a mistake with her.

By the tapes originally taken by her and split apart and sold, him asking why her tone changes, her telling him no one will believe him, telling him to kill himself, and everything else that she omitted from her original submissions, people lying on her behalf and being caught, the makeup… I just can’t believe her. I think she’s definitely lying.
you clearly know nothing about abuse - the initial grooming/love bombing which secures a victim; the intermittent reinforcement and the resultant trauma bonding and perpetual confusion about whether the abuser is good or bad. The mental trauma from all of the above, the confusion and the gaslighting absolutely make someone talk like Amber is. As a former victim myself I relate to every cadence, pattern and inflection of her speech and delivery.

Look up right now , domestic abuse victim testimony. I watched 3 videos, and in all of them the woman chooke , take long winded pauses, and just one word makes them cry.
If anything Heards testimony sounds like an ex regretting what happened to with her lover, regretting her mistakes.

For people that are survivors of domestic violence this is a slap in the face from her. My mother is a surviver I have seen her reaction when a little comment is brought up and how she refused to even talk about it because it hurts so much. She talks about how she is a victim like is a story book. When my parents were getting divorce my mother couldn’t even faced him, she refused all the financial help from him because of how painful it was. This lady is full of it! No tears no emotions.

It's been now around 10 years from the last court date (i got the court forbid him from contacting, stalking or coming too close to me) and it's still a nightmare to relive it. Also, it's not as "bubbly" as she makes it out to be. Ikr. The victim usually has a vague memory of the situation because they are trying to erase a terrible time from their mind. I know that because I had awful experiences myself, from bullying to sexual harassment, I don't wanna remember those moments, so I erase the picture from my mind, because I don't wanna recall how weak I was at that time. It isn't very comfortable to remember. So, that makes me don't remember detail and I also don't wanna face my aggressors ever. I know she's lying bcz she was staring at Johnny with no fear, while Johnny can't stand to look at her. AH also knows every micro-detail of the situation bcz a liar tends to exaggerate everything. In their mind, "if I can paint the picture clearly, they would believe me."
The other thing is I know that AH likes reading books, and when I listened to her story, it was like I was reading a novel. She clearly makes a narrative like when you put detail when writing fiction. She adorned her word while imagining all those things in her mind. I am a writer myself, and how she described the situation is similar to how I write my novel.

She’s questioning why Johnny would believe she took his drugs, saying that the only reason why could be that she, someone who doesn’t use drugs, took them for herself. That’s not the only reason a person would take someone’s drugs and hide them. And what she is insinuating is that that is the only reason. A more logical reason is that she took them to hide them from him so that he would stop doing them, that’s a reason that actually makes sense, but according to what she saying, that thought never even came into her head. Doesn’t make sense. I also noticed no tears, yes, some people don’t cry, but with the amount of emotion that she is showing in her testimony, I would’ve expected to see tears during the part of the story where she describes that he did a cavity search without her permission after ripping off her clothes…
If she wins this trial I gonna loose all hope in humanity poor Johnny Depp is listening to all of her lies.

It only takes 30 seconds of listening to her to be able to tell she's lying and has got serious issues, she sounds like she's reciting lines (which she's obviously very used to doing) and looking around the room and making sure everybody is watching and listening to her is the obvious giveaway
I'm an EFL teacher, so I analyse language day in and day out, even without meaning to do so. I noticed that in her testimony, she often says, " I remember... ." For example, "I remember crying," as opposed to, "I started crying," or, "I was crying." That intro prefaces a lie and highlights her deceptiveness. An honest account would not be phrased that way. Just a minor detail.

I haven't watched every second of this, but I did watch Depp's testimony on his experience where she withheld detox meds while he was doing a rehab. He wasn't perfectly spoken, got sidetracked and took his time and whatnot, but he recalled details, and reactions which made sense, and he walked you through the events. Notice how with her, it's stuff like he threw "something"? He knocked the, whatdycallit, the table thing? Cries to the best of her ability at a particular point in time. And all these little empty barbs about him that aren't necessary (sure Depp got mad at her, but at particular points!)

As a man who was the victim of emotional and physical abuse from my ex-fiance, I feel for Johnny and for you and all others who have suffered. It took me a long time and the love and patience of an incredible woman to get me to admit to myself that it wasn't my own fault and that I was actually a victim no matter how the ex tried to make me feel as if I was abusing HER by walking away from fights just like JD.

My heart truly breaks for Johnny 💔. As a woman that has gone through domestic abuse, verbally, physically and mentally,I just can’t believe that this trial has gone on this far. I mean her testimony makes me mad and it’s only the first day. I’m triggered by her tone, the way she acts as if she is going cry but doesn’t. This is not a damn audition for a part, you know. Like, I would think with all the notes she has taken, she would have a better start.
I left my last wife beater years ago, did long years of therapy and work to heal what I had left, even gaining some self esteem. When I hear anyone falsely claiming they’ve been “victims” of abuse, I’m angered. No other person, including myself, who has gone through the pain, humiliation, fear, embarrassment, loneliness and depression EVER wants to relive those events …or even speak the name aloud of the one who debased them. Truth be told, SHE isn’t the victim of much more than her dangerously complicated disorders.

@@JennyWren333 Wow, I’m sorry that you had to go through that. Trying to recover your self esteem after abuse is really hard, so I am glad that you have somewhat gained some of it back. It took me years and I still struggle with the after effects. I see things and hear things and it brings back all of the horrible moments in my life when I was dealing with abuse. This trial has really brought back a lot of old memories from that time of my life.

My mom is a domestic abuse survivor. My sister and I witnessed our dad beat our mom throughout our early childhood. I even saw my dad throw my mom down the stairs. It’s traumatizing for the victim and witnesses who are children. Child protective services were called 2x on my family because my sister said to her teacher our dad beats our mom and when they came to question my mom, my mom was wearing sunglasses (hiding her bruises) and said she fell because she was clumsy. My mom did that so that we wouldn’t get taken away. And my mom said that the reason she never called the cops on our dad was because she didn’t want us to grow up without a father.
In reality I found out later in my adulthood she put up with the beatings because my dad was making more money and she couldn’t support 5 kids plus a mortgage and utilities etc. all on her own.
Even now that I’m an adult and my mom is in her 60s she’s still traumatized. It’s so bad my mom doesn’t like when couples on the street fight because she’ll get into a panic and start saying “call the cops, that man is beating her”
even our dogs fighting sent my mom into panic mode and she breaths very heavy when the dog fight gets very nasty and cries when one of our dog was crying in pain. For me I grew up fearing men and was scared to be in a romantic relationship because in my head I thought “What if the guy I’m with beats me?”

That's awful. Has she ever tried therapy? A good therapist can really help with PTSD and getting past dark memories.
If she's like my mom, though, she would never do counseling because not many did that in her generation.
I've been through alcoholism, lived with a sociopathic brother in a dysfunctional home, had social phobia and couldn't talk in school for years, made no friends, lived with undiagnosed neurological disorders, endured personality disorders - I've been through a lot. But the abusive marriage I was in for 3 years is the worst thing I've ever been through, and was the only time in my life I think I was really started to lose my mind.
I can't think of a more important subject than abuse, with child abuse being the worst of all. The subject of abuse should be taught about in schools so everyone knows the red flags, dynamics of abuse, what Traumatic Bonding and Stockholm Syndrome mean - things like that.

I'm not married yet and I don't have any kids, but I learned a long time ago the best thing a man can do for his kids is to love their mother. I truly believe that. I've never understood why some people treat the most important people in their lives like dirt. I hope you, your sister and your mom are doing better now.
