    I don’t like the exterior at all.
    Love the entry mats developers are starting to do and the glass panel in the front door to bring some light in.
    I really like bellways oak doors.
    Downstairs toilet is nice, exactly what it says on the tin. Love the big bathroom mirrors that bellway do aswell.
    I do love homes with a proper dining room.
    I’m not crazy about the kitchen but i can’t put my finger on why. Something about it feels a bit cramped. Omg I love that the fridge isn’t next to the integrated oven!!! Drives me mad when they do that!
    I love a hallway cupboard, somewhere to put the coats
    Nice sized lounge! I quite like the bay window leading out to the back. I do like that you can see all the way through the property, I’d consider that an advantage (largely because my partner is American and doesn’t understand British homes).
    I don’t like the upstairs lounge though, I’ve noticed that’s a particular trend in more city locations but it’s really not my thing, I think lounges should be downstairs.
    I like that there’s a toilet on the second floor even if it’s not a full family bathroom. I hate getting caught short! 😖
    The splay in the bedroom wouldn’t bother me personally. Nice en suite. I heard someone say that hidden cisterns made them think of public toilets but I like that there’s less to clean. And who wants to look at all the bits of a toilet lol!
    I’m glad that bedroom 1 is on the second floor. Lovely and spacious. Nice en suite.
    Good sized en suite! Drives me mad when they’re tiny baths. Also I love full tile bathroom. I wouldn’t have a mirror above the bath, just going to get handprints on it.
    I don’t like the two single bedrooms, I’d have preferred one bigger room. And I wouldn’t have shoved two people in smaller rooms and had a second lounge but that’s me personally

      I agree with the kitchen bit. Normaly I quite like open plan kitchen/dinners but this kitchen felt very rushed and something you might see in a smaller home. For half a million I wouldnt think its unreasonable to expect a spacious kitchen maybe even an island/ breakfast areas.

    • @josie5670
      @josie5670 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sztanveer I think you’ve summed up why I didn’t like the kitchen perfectly, definatly expected a bigger kitchen for a family home!
      Also reflecting on it it’s a shame the bigger space is at the back of the house as you’ll naturally put the lounge in the larger area, so kids and pets will be running in through the patio doors with muddy feet. If you use the upstairs lounge as a bedroom that’s going to get on your nerves very quickly. I guess some people won’t mind that kind of layout but personally I don’t want to drag the outdoors into my living room.

    • @sztanveer
      @sztanveer 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@josie5670 I agree. The layout is definitely a bit odd. I feel like you need a formal living room downstairs it feels a bit odd to take some of the formal guests up the stairs. And if you were to use the living space downstairs as a formal living room you d end up feeling pretty exposed working in the kitchen or setting up the table.

    I'm from America living in Manchester and i have to say. I don't like broilers or water heaters in the bedrooms or kitchens its very weird to me as we have them in the basement of the houses.
    Fair enough in the kitchen hidden but in the bedrooms or other living spaces is a no for me.

    • @PropertyVlogsUK
      @PropertyVlogsUK  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We actually agree with you there. They're not attractive to look at so with adequate planning they should at least be far out of sight.

    At first i thought it was quite a small kitchen for a 4 bed family home. However the house is quite small for a family home. for a new build its probably ok but small for the price.

    • @paxundpeace9970
      @paxundpeace9970 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The kitchen might be small but many homes are usually not used by more then 4 or even 3 people.
      2 kids or teens and the parents.
      With you have quest over a big size would be a little more helpful.
