I could never find any good YT crochet tuts until I found you guys!❤ it boosted my confidence and I now sell crochet stuffies for a living!
wow that is so amazing! we are so happy we could help!
This tutorial was so helpful! I couldn't find many tutorials that I understood because I only started crochet last week but this one was really easy to follow! Please do more!!!!!!
Glad you liked it! We have a playlist of other tutorials like this one if you are looking for more fun projects!
Thx
My ball is perfect thanks for the tutorial
you’re welcome 😊 so glad you like it
Tyy this is the only tutorial that was helpful its perfectttt
i just got some of the tiedye bernat yarn and its super good yarn! 10/10 would recommend :)
thank you so much!! i was able to do it on the first try! :D
only, i'm not sure about some steps... are "increase in each stitch" and "1 sc, 1 inc" the same thing?, or "1 sc, 1 dec" and "decrease in every stitch"?
i did the stress ball, and it looks good, but i'm not sure i'm doing it right
thank you!!
Great work! Those are not the same thing, 1 sc 1 inc means 1 single in the first stitch, 2 singles in the next, and then repeat all the way around (increasing in every OTHER stitch). Increase in each stitch means placing 2 singles in every stitch all the way around (increasing in EVERY stitch). Same goes for the decrease rounds. Hope this helps :)
@@daisycrochet12 ohh,, i get it;; thank you for replying!!
Thank you for this tutorial my daughter wanted to crochet a stress ball and she did it!❤
Awe that’s amazing!
Ohhh! im supposed to keep that hole… tahnsk for the help!!!!❤
Tysm!! I made one this morning and i finished it under an hour! (Which is usually the time i would be done) im gonna make loads of these today! Tyy ✨🧶
so happy you love the tutorial!!
Mine turned into a strawberry😅
I would say even better ngl
Awwww❤❤❤❤
Lol
That’s nice too! Ngl❤
I'm a beginner and I've got the same problem every circle thingy turned into a strawberry💀
Thx for the tutorial mine came kut as a perfect ball❤❤ i really recommend
That’s so awesome!!
TY@@daisycrochet12
Thank you for the tutorial it helped so much ❤
Glad it helped!
Thanks I actually made a ball this time 😂
As a beginner, the first part itself gave me a panic attack 😭 everything looks so impossible!
you can slow the video down if it would help :) you can do it!
@@daisycrochet12 okay thank you for the tip!
Thank you mine turned out perfectly
Great job!
Once I got the pattern down, this was so easy! Going to be making more soon😁
great job! so glad you like the pattern :)
can u pls send the pattern
Thx so much this tutorial is so easy
glad you liked it!
Tysm for this I made one easy Peary with this tut
omg so glad to hear this!!
I'd melt the eyes flat on the inside instead of stress ball instead of using the backing. When you squish the ball, your palm can get poked by the sharp end of the eyes.
thanks for the idea! we have never had that issue, and our eyes don’t have sharp backs :)
I made it today and it turned out so cute!
That's a really nice tutorial, thank you :)
So glad you like it!
Soooo easy mine came out perfect
That’s awesome!
I did this to make snowballs!
Wow so cute!! What type of yarn did you use??
it's bernat blanket yarn, size 6, 100% polyester. We have also used bernat velvet yarn, which works great for a smaller stress ball!
Thanks so much for the help
of course!
this is not very beginner friendly but kinda helps so ty
you can slow the video down in settings if that would help!
How big are your stress balls. Just made one from tutorial and it came out quite small where yours look bigger. Turned out cute still but just wondering. Thanks again for the tutorials. Much appreciated.
we use weight 6 yarn and an 8mm crochet hook. if you use anything other than that it will likely make it bigger/smaller. hope this helps!
I figured so. I have a 6 weight yarn but only a 7 or 9 hook. I’ll try the 9 and see what happens. Thanks for the response.
You’re going too fast I don’t understand and also do you mind talking in the video and like giving me like more steps?
Finally something explaining it in a way I can understand!
I wanted to make my fiancé a moth. And was just going to do two balls and add the legs attenna and wings
god bless you i really needed this
You have exactly what I have but I don't know how to do a magic ring :(
Me 5 months later laughing at this because now I think the magic ring is the easiest part😂😂😂
I literally can’t follow tutorials. 😅 I’m looking at the comments saying “this was so easy!” And I’m just still on the first part 😂😂
that's okay! everyone learns differently, take your time! you can also slow the video down in settings if that would help.
Can you please tell me the hook size. I couldn't read it on the yellow. Thank you.
8mm :)
Can i do This with wrosted yarn?
like acrylic? you can but it would likely turn out much smaller.
@@daisycrochet12 ok thx!
Help why is mine only half 4:42 😢 idk but at this stage mine started to look like only half of what she did? And I followed all the steps ? So I’m not sure what I did wrong 😭bro my beginner ass was so excited ❤ but ig it just takes time. Thank you for your lovely videos
Did you increase? (Two single crochets in each stitch)
I made a hat for it❤
cute!
I don't know why but my stress ball is never bigger than 3 cm I tried everything
Are you using the same thickness of yarn and hook size as we used in the video? If you’re using smaller of either than that may be the reason it’s turning out smaller.
When ever I make a stress ball or octopus there is a little lump in the top. How do I did it?💞💞
It might be caused by not closing your magic ring tight enough, or not stuffing fully. Hope this helps!
Why is it that every time I try making this it turns into a flat pancake😭 help
It might be because your not decreasing properly. It’s hard to say without seeing it. You can slow down the video if it’s too fast for you! 💕
@@daisycrochet12 ok ty❤️
Mine is a smol one because I used reg yarn not plush yarn XD
how do you start the single crochet?
we have a "how to crochet tutorial" that can help you with that! but basically, you insert your hook into the stitch (it looks like a "v"), then wrap the yarn around the hook and pull it all the way out the other side of the stitch. from there, you yarn over one more time and pull through both loops on the hook. hope this helps!
i have the same scissors
Lol
thx❤❤❤❤❤❤
You're welcome!
What eye size did you use?
12 mm :)
@@daisycrochet12 Okay thank you :)
i used normal thin yarn and it turned out teeny tiny😭😭😭
Omg haha hope you still love it!
@@daisycrochet12 i do :D!
Why I have cone not a stress ball ?
Did you remember to decrease at the end?
Oh, thank you so much 😅
Is there a written pattern?
there isn't yet, we've only made patterns in video form so far. sorry!
Where can I find the pattern for the stress ball
We don’t currently have written patterns available. Coming soon!
Could you explain the abbreviations? I can follow the video but I’d just like to know what they mean 😅
inc- increase (2 single crochets in 1 stitch)
dec- decrease (1 single crochet through 2 stitches)
sc- single crochet
🤍
I had a little bit of struggle to the point where I couldn’t make it..:(
I was wondering if you could make the tutorial a bit slower….;)
If you could I would be really helpful….:)
Thanks so much!!
You can slow down the video in settings if that would make it easier!
@@daisycrochet12 oh kk thanks so much!!!
what does it 1 inc and 1 sc mean 🥲
1 increase, 1 single crochet. an increase is 2 single crochets in 1 stitch.
What is DEC?
decrease, which means crocheting two stitches together to make the project smaller/close it up.
I ended up with a pod or pill looking thing
did you increase properly/the right amount?
@@daisycrochet12 I don't think so😔
@@Blackcattherian2 keep trying! make sure to count to ensure you have the correct number of stitches in each round.
@@daisycrochet12 thank you ❤️🥹
the ball that im making keeps closing up early
you might be accidentally skipping stitches, causing it to close too quickly. hope this helps :)
MINE WAS AMAZING BUT I FORGIT TO ADD THE STICH MARKER SO I JUST KEPT ON GOING WITHOUT NOTICING 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Omg ahahhaha
HELP I SQUISHED IT SIDEWAYS AND HE TURNED INTO A FISH 😂😂
Don’t worry, he’s okay-I fixed him
Lol!
02:04 ❤
HELP- could you make a slower version? I’m terrible at this..
You can slow down the video in settings :)
@@daisycrochet12 oh! Nice to know :) thx
mine looks like a fish🐟
This wasn't really helpful it went way to fast
You can slow the video down in settings if that would help!
Yeah it’s kind of a video for people who already know the stitches, I can do it but I’m really slow 😅
Just pause it. Do the round, start video again. Go back if needed
Mine was an extra small 😅
Could I sell these
for sure!
@@daisycrochet12 thank you
Not me having the same hook lollll
lol!
I meqn mine is going well for now but i dont gwt the part where you secure magic ring with a knot can you explain better please
you should just be able to pull the string to tighten it, then knot it! if it's not working for you, you can also chain 2, and use the 1st chain as if it was a magic ring. that way you won't need to secure it. hope this helps!
I still can't understand HOW TO MAKE THE DANG MAGIC CIRCLE
You can chain 2 and work into the first chain instead! It’s much easier
@@daisycrochet12 I WATCHED THE VID AGAIN AND NOW UNDERSTAND TAHNK YOU SMMM
I loved the results but my cousin threw it at the toilet
omg oh no ahaha
You shouldn't put beginner tutorial if you're not going to demonstrate where you're pulling the string through. It's impossible to tell with that light of color of yarn. Otherwise great video. 👍
I think other beginners have done just fine… it’s a beginner tutorial not a “how to crochet tutorial”. We do have one of those though if you’re interested!
I can’t slow this video down any more 😭
it should work if you go to settings, then playback speed
Too fast and not beginner friendly
You can slow the video down in settings if that would help!
@@daisycrochet12I found this to be incredibly beginner friendly and easy to understand!
Hopefully more people learn to use the settings 💜
It took me 30 minutes to figure out the first step 😭
maybe watch a how to crochet video to get the basics down, or slow the video down in settings!
This is not 4 beginners at all, I cant even do the first step bcuz ur going 2 fast😭
You can slow down the video if needed! Also we have a how to crochet video if you need more practice on the basics :)
“EASY beginner friendly” *begins by doing magic ring*
you could try doing a chain of 2 and work your single crochets into the first one! that is what i do, i prefer it to a magic ring.
@daisycrochet12 Thank you!!
What did inc meannnnnnn
it means increase, which is placing 2 single crochets in the same stitch. it makes the project bigger :)
Tysm i figured it out when i was doing it but it helps from you replying to me
And it made me make a ball but a small one since i used thin yarn but this vid helped :) ♡
To fast😤but You TRIED and its okay😊
you can slow it down in settings :)
Safety eyes size sis
12mm :)
Gurl your going too fast btw😅I’m a beginner and I can’t catch up😅
sorry to hear that. you could try slowing down the video (go to settings, playback speed, and then select 0.75, 0.5, or 0.25, depending on how slow you'd like it). hope this helps!
easy? beginner friendly? if this is for beginners what am i? undeveloped?
if you’re struggling to follow the tutorial we recommend watching a video that covers the basics before attempting the project :)
@@daisycrochet12 sorry ive just reread my comment and it looks like i’m being rude, first i just want to clarify i wasnt and i was mostly joking lololl also i’ve been learning crochet for MONTHS and for some reason i follow every single instruction and it never turns out right :( i’ll keep trying tho!
It going to fasttttt😢
you can slow the video down in settings if that would help :)
You go way to fast maybe slow down…😅
You can slow down the video in settings if that would help :)
@@daisycrochet12 Tysm that helped a lot I made my ball!
@thehollandtwins can you elaborate on you abbreviations and how do you do your increase on your rounds
@@sandykerr4976 sc (single crochet), inc (increase), dc (decrease). you increase by placing 2 single crochets into the same stitch. hope this helps!
Girl 😭✋️it was so fast
you can slow down the video in settings if you need to!
@@daisycrochet12 ook tysm for the advice ✌️
It’s way to fast 😭
you can slow the video down in settings if you'd like!
Tf its inc
it means increase, which is placing 2 stitches in the same chain.
@@daisycrochet12 ooo tyyyyyyy
Okay I don’t get this message please remove your hands a bit I can’t see
It's written on the screen. How are people supposed to crochet of theyvremove their hands?
