How about we take this a step further. The curtains fall back to full orchestra getting ready play. You hear the sound of all these instruments being tuned over time. Then the maestro walks on to stage as he gives his first grand bow letting the audience know its time to quite down. Next he proceeds to adjust his suit, coat tailes, and other parts of his outfit. Then finally he would open to the first page of his music sheets, gracefully he taps his baton on hist music stand quiting the remaining "tuning instruments". And finally BAM HE STARTS JUST FUCKING CONDUCTING WHICH REVEALS TO THE REST OF THE AUDIENCES HORROR THAT EVERY INSTRUMENT THAT ISN'T A TROMBONE ALL ARE FAKE CUTOUTS THAT COLLAPSE AND SHOW THAT EVERY MUSICIAN IS A TROMBONE PLAYER OF VARING COLOR AND SIZES. I was wondering for a second at the absence of Pachelbel's Canon in D since it's the most used public domain song in the world, then I remembered it has the most monotonous trombone part in the world. Everyone else gets nice melodies, trombones get all the whole notes
That's of course assuming that the devs would actually have you play the trombone part. Several instances in this showed the map being set to violin, or piano, or pretty much anything but brass. That's even before the chance they'd do the trombone part but make the song like a trap remix or smth, like they did for some of them. That said, as a former trumpet player and hopefully future bass guitar player, I respect actual trombone parts. They might not get the nice melodies, but someone has to set the rhythm and trombone is in the bass clef to do that. Plus the longer, lower notes suit the sound a lot better imo. Respect to the parts of a band/ orchestra/ etc that do the lifting so that the other instruments can do their fancy shit, y'all keep music together and don't get enough credit for it
