They were so original. Their 90's songs sound way fresher than most rock music out there right now.

It's funny, even though I mostly play guitar it was your bass playing in Jawbox that I kind of glued my ears too.

Different set list than the show in Dallas at Trees. They started off with Mirrorful. It was a surreal and amazing night that I wished could have lasted longer than it did. Me and an old high school friend reunited for the Show in Dallas. He drove up with his wife and son 500 miles to come see the show with me. We had last seen Jawbox in 1991 in Houston at Emos. We were seniors at King High School graduates of 1992. It was such an emotional event for me knowing that we probably would never see Jawbox like this again. Thanks for posting this! And also, Thanks for the Memories and the amazing opportunity Jawbox, sincerely love you all.

King High School in Corpus Christi? W.B. Ray class of 92' for me and several of my "friends"...who are still in High School. Of course I knew I would see many people from my past at the Austin show but like Jawbreaker a month prior, they were all in the back. So, I went to the very front! 2019 has been an amazing year! I think the sound was the absolute best in Austin from all the postings I have seen. Every song I wanted to hear was played except for "Excandescent"...and Avengers cover Thin White Line and Big Boys' Sound on Sound and I've Got you under my skin. But otherwise one of the best live shows ever! Right on up there with Social Distortion in 89', Superdrag 97', Samiam at Red7, Jawbreaker in 1990, Fugazi at Liberty Lunch, Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Descendents with Milo...

Thanks for posting this it feels like I'm really there. Side note, does anyone else find it coincidental that the Jawbreaker and Jawbox reunion shows happened around the same time?

@@HDellamorte J Robbins is an accomplished Audio engineer/Producer. He recorded and mixed all of the Jets To Brazil and Forgetters LP’s. It’s the same front man from Jawbreaker. J Robbins also played bass on the Forgetters albums. You should at least Check out Jawbreaker or Jets To Brazil. Cheers!

Thank you so, so much for capturing this! Beautiful stuff. Nice to hear Kim's bass sounding like it should (loud!) on "FF=66".

Is she wearing Doc Martens? Is this 1994 all over again?
P.S. Saw Burning Airlines at the Le Rey Theater in LA, September 12, 2001... J Robbins from the stage: "Today, I realized we have a pretty stupid band name..."

Why the avoidance of Bill Barbot during the filming?

    • @HDellamorte

Ah! I see. The guy on my left was waaaay to intrusive, I'd have to do a lot of maneuvering and I was also taking photos... The were waaaay opposite of each other, and there was no lens widd enough to get them all...
