Need to dodge more with that pike build. Dodge sprinting into the fight, sprint with your weapon drawn between behemoths. Always use the heavy attack. Every second with a big full yellow bar means 4 cells (Adrenaline and Endurance) are doing nothing for you.
I never see anyone running sturdy on their aether strikers, but I recently picked it up and I'm absolutely loving it. There's nothing worse than losing your mantras because you got knocked back mid-combo, but with sturdy I can keep all my combos going. It makes it so much easier and less frustrating lol.
If you are running iceborne, just use your iceborne tap ability to throw your javelin, and you will gain a sturdy effect for like 10 secs or so, I'm not sure about the duration.

Lately I've been using molten core in place of evasive fury since it's an extra 5% speed and also makes you immune to fire. Plus I don't have to dodge I can just get a hit that refreshes faster than 3 molten cores will wear off. Isn't that better than evasive fury? Because I see no one using it.
@@thespiffingbrit474 you'll get the hang of it. The probllem is when you attack from the air you just fall attacking the air instead of attacking the boss and it gets you killed because stamina doesnt exist to dodge after =)
for me discipline doesn't feel too much of a damage increase to be honest, just when you reach the stacks which by the time you reach them, the boss is already dead with another cell lol, I like bastion overall and iceborn is always reliable of course
Discipline is for crit dmg increase, when you have 4 fire fist you have 24% crit dmg. And if you don’t like to be disciplined because you take to much damage, you can stay at 3 fire fist and beneficiate 18% crit dmg. Btw when you’re disciplined it deals good crit dmg but it’s kinda risked because of the 100% damage taken. Sry for bad english)
Funny I see everyone using icebourne over discipline so surely icebourne us meta. Personally I don't use discipline last I heard it was broken and not working correctly and I don't like iceboune as its pointless to take damage with no stagger as that will kill you quickly and I feel I can get more benefit from skarns lantern and bastion with parasite cell and be way more tankier and have better life steal and damage reduction. My preferred cells are berserker Cunning Tenacious Assassins frenzy Aetheric attunement Sharpened Not all in one build but depending on the weapon and the role I wish it to perform such as part breaks or fast kills ill fit one or two as a must have. But frankly discipline is evidently NOT meta when only 1/6 players are using it. Just play what your comfortable with don't let people tell you hw to play and what you should play a game is there to be played and enjoyed not a chore or a job 😆
ummm, discipline is the meta... every time i go in a hunt everyone is using discipline and RARELY someone puts iceborne. And if its broken, why is everyone using it in trials?

Sturdy is good but its not useful for the whole fight, its a nice cell if there isnt anything else worth having

Loving sturdy builds, also works wonders for axe players.

I like molten i just pref evasive fury with the hammer as i tend to have to dodge more for openings. But molten is still a solid choice

i do really enjoy enjoy bastion just not as efficient as disipline if used correctly imo. BUT tbh they are all good
