Using this self land technique, the kite should land leading edge into the wind, powerless and still attached to your safety line.
There are 4 ways I use self-land my Kitesurfing kite.
In this self land method we use the safety system and 3 pre-planning steps to land the kite on the beach
I believe this to be the easiest way to self land your kite and with the added safety of using the safety line.

If no one is around I usually use an anchor point to self land but I had a wide open clear beach yesterday so I figured I should give this a go. It went perfectly, the kite landed on its leading edge and didn't move an inch, just like your video :-) I've had a few failed attempts when landing the kite by pulling a middle line in the past but using the safety feels totally safe and under control. Super easy instructions to follow :-)

How would you land it if you DONT have a safety line on your bar for modified bars? What if I take the entire chicken look off and let it go and it will only stretch as far as my leash allows it?
The safety leash on my Cabrinha bars is attached to BOTH of the front bridle lines. Is that a problem?
What if the safety line is attached to the bottom and you can't land on the other side?

You have some of the best power kite instruction on TH-cam, by far! your training is very complete, to the point, and you cover even the smallest details that novice power kite users need to know. You're instruction is very clear, methodical and very easy to understand because you seem to think out loud when you're describing what's going on with your different techniques. Hey what is bad for me is when people comment like on your other video saying that's not right, but they don't have a video that is better or any infact. for a novice it can get very confusing, as a novice thinks mmmm is he right or are they? For me your videos are one of the clearer better ones on here iv'e watched. So thanks for making the effort. I have a Cabrinha 1x and so I can attach the center lines and specify what way i want the kite to flag out on, will try this for sure.
