Thankful your video was recommended to me today. I’m a mom of 4 littles also and have been needing some motivation just to get into the swing of homeschooling my oldest 6 year old after being in a long season of adjusting with new baby. I so appreciate your lovely personality, it really helped me remember to be that way with my children and not let all the stresses of the day make my countenance fall… it truly is such a rich blessing to be able to be home with our children and have the privilege to teach them ❤
You speak with such sweetness and gentleness to your children and it’s so peaceful. My kids are 7,5,2,1, and newborn and I really need to work on the way I speak even when frustrated because they feed on my stressed negative energy and mirror it back. Not the atmosphere I want in our home or homeschool. Thanks for the wonderful example.

I love simple. I found that when I stick with the basics like Math, Reading, and Language Arts it gives us a peaceful home atmosphere without the added stress of doing all the little things. It also allows us the time to go slowly and make time for more exploring and downtime. We do read alouds for history and just simple experiments and outdoor exploration for science.
We are currently using Simply Charlotte Mason for Math, the McGuffey Readers for reading and language arts, and Gentle Grammar.

I have the driest skin and I need help!!
I have dry skin too, so I know how that goes! I use the Weleda Skinfood Moisturizer and Jojoba oil for when I need an extra layer of moisture! ❤️

I forgot to mention that I also just wear cream based makeup products. Powder on me makes my skin feel congested! :)❤
I'm confused.....are you teaching cursive and print at the same time? This video shows print but in your Alpha Phonics video you show cursive. I am currently struggling with which to teach .
We do print most of the time, but will still practice cursive when learning new words. They haven’t mastered it without tracing yet. 😊❤️
What curriculum are you using?
Christian Light Education in this video. I’ve since added the McGuffey Readers. ❤️
