I found that when I stick with the basics like Math, Reading, and Language Arts it gives us a peaceful home atmosphere without the added stress of doing all the little things. It also allows us the time to go slowly and make time for more exploring and downtime. We do read alouds for history and just simple experiments and outdoor exploration for science.
I'm confused.....are you teaching cursive and print at the same time? This video shows print but in your Alpha Phonics video you show cursive. I am currently struggling with which to teach .

We are currently using Simply Charlotte Mason for Math, the McGuffey Readers for reading and language arts, and Gentle Grammar.

We do print most of the time, but will still practice cursive when learning new words. They haven’t mastered it without tracing yet. 😊❤️
