I remember learning this song the first time you posted it, a few years ago. Here I am to give a big shout to you. The man who helped to accomplish one of my top 10 bucket list items: learning to play guitar. Thank you very much, Justin! I wish you many years of guitar fun in good health! Cheers. Rui Miranda
I’ve been playing this song for years and only now that I see your video I finally worked out I had never been using my bottom e for that little G part between the C and the rundown to the Am!! Haha thanks brother! Great video. Subbed 🤘
Yep Justin you are the man 👨 in your lessons to many that struggle but calling cords to lyrics and it truly is a great laugh 😂 as it becomes a good habit to do to learn for me anyway you truly have progressed me on my journey for this I am very greatfull to have found u
i would really like a cover.... the whole song. your getting a great tone out of that guitar and your vocals are.....fitting. idk, like them better than the orignal
Justin you are very good, you can explain better than anyone how to play a song, also speak clearly. I'm Italian and I understand you very well. Bravo! P.S. sorry for my english XD
Sounds great too me I prefer too do my own version of each song playing it perfectly like the original isn't essential in my opinion each too there own like thanks these are helpful for people self taught like myself my ear is shit can't even tune by ear so transposing a song by ear is practically impossible
hi justin i like u r videos but if u can play some scorpions acoustic songs and snow patrol eddie veder johny cash ... songs there are an amazing songs to do a tutorials justin please ?
Ronan Mahony sucks no one tried helping you... anyway a good tip is to not play a Fmaj7 and do a Fmaj9- It only makes you move you fingers down one *search the chord, im not listing it
Have the same problem. And this method doesn't work :). I play Fmaj7 like Justin shows in video. But different sound. I think Justin changes pattern when playing from Fmaj9 to G. Have no problem when playing C to G. Can someone please give an advice?
Степан Авласенков There is no major 9th chord in the song. It’s an F add9. Add the 9th (2nd same thing) note in the scale (G) which is 3rd fret top E string. It’s really very simple.
Justin you are my God and I'm finally (after 10 years), slowly learing to play guitar thanks to you. BUT (there is a BUT) the strumming pattern at the beginning of this video is not the same as the one you teach at the 8th minute! I saw it like... 8000 times (let's say i watched it consistently!🤣🤣🤣) it's just not the same!
I think you have missed the main point of this song, the key is not so much the strum pattern but the lifting on and off of the middle finger while on C, and again the same with the index finger while on Am, which you hinted at briefly but really is the whole essence of the song.
@@cristianfabio9173 i managed to solve the issue by changing the hand position. I lower my thumb to around the middle of the neck which cages my fingers more.. waa very uncomfortable at first.
On the C chord, your little finger is holding down the 1st string at fret 3 (note G). It stays there for a quick change to a 2 finger G chord and / or a 3 finger G sus4 chord. On both G chords, the 3rd finger mutes the 5th string. Cheers | close 2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & JG Forum Mod [ justinguitarcommunity.com/index.php ]
