I want both girly/lacy and comfortable and just didn't want to settle on one or the other. Now I've entered a whole other level of sewing and am making my own bras and underwear out of the most beautiful laces. Very satisfying

I just bought one of those kaftans! I’ve been in the market for a kaftan for a long time but I’m trying to buy sustainable or secondhand and also didn’t want to blow a ton of money. All the reasonably-priced secondhand ones I could find were polyester and I wanted something natural, these are perfect! Plus I feel great about the fact that they’re reusing old fabrics and it’s a small business. I know you don’t do these videos to encourage us all to buy a lot of stuff because you’re all about mindful consumerism, but this was something I’ve been planning to buy for a long time anyway so I’m happy to have the info :) Several years ago I would have found a brand new super fancy one and just bought it without thinking, but thanks to your channel I’ve learned to not shop in that way and to take a long time to consider whether or not a certain item or type of item would be good for my life. Very interest to hear your thoughts about skims. As someone who has likely the same hold ups about buying from them... I finally caved and I honestly love everything I have ever got. That being said I am a 2x and a 42DD so finding casual comfortable underwear that doesn’t make me feel 94 years old is essentially an insurmountable task in my size. Their size inclusiveness is really really incredible honestly
I love your approach on beautiful things that look elegant but feel comfortable and practical. I moved near the german coast a couple of month ago and we have a beach bar nearby which has a very chill and cozy vibe. The thing that made me think of that bar is that you see people in suits or beautiful summer maxi dresses aswell as people in shorts and flip-flops who just came back from swimming in the baltic sea. And nobody feels misplaced, everybody dressed up or dressed down fits in. Thats what an ideal piece of clothing is for me, I can wear it to a wedding but also to the beach.

I used to wear my Nani's (maternal grandma) kaftans as a toddler! She always wears them to bed, and as my primary caretaker when I was young, I wanted to be *exactly* like her. So interesting to hear the various pronunciations of the word - being Hindi-speaking, the first a is pronounced as a schwa, and the second is long as in "baa," the sound sheep make. I almost said long as in "far," but I realized that as a southerner, words with long "a" followed by an "r" end up swallowed, like when a pirate says "argh!" :)
I would like to hear about the underwear, because I’m curious what happened to the Knickey underwear! I’ve been trying to get a pair after your recommendation, but they often sell out in my size. I saw someone else say it as well, but I recommend ARQ! It is pretty thick so doesn’t work under everything, but I do really like it!

My father also called it a "wizard dress" in a zoom. I bought it with overtime money on a very tedious project and it makes feel the the opposite: giddy

Some earrings will wear off within 10 days for me, even ones from reputable shops. So I've been on the hunt for 14k solid gold earrings, but I also didn't want to get scammed. I'm so thankful to know of a legit shop. At this point I'd rather have a couple pairs of very high quality earrings and leave it at that.

I've gone with implant grade titanium and I am so glad it did. My ears have been so happy and they will last forever. My husband rightly pointed out that if anyone was going to know how to make a backside (of any size) look great... So, long story longer - I have two pair and they do fit VERY nicely.

Go for some Hanky Panky thong undies. I legitimately NEVER thought I’d ever wear thongs, but, they have been my daily wear undies for about 10 years now, and I’ll be 45 in a few weeks. No VPL ever 👍 I re-up them at the Nordy sales when they get worn out. I machine wash and dry them, and they last really well. Lots of fun colors and patterns, too.
100% agree. I regret it every time I don’t buy hanky panky. I like the boy shorts but I agree that the thongs are comfortable and I never thought I’d say that.
You can get an optician to tighten up your sunglasses Hannah. Go to Walmart optical it is free ask for them to “adjust” ur glasses that is normal for to stretch out.
Please also show us how you wear the new clothing items you've bought (and older ones too).. You can make somethng like a try on video every quartal or so. Even if it is just 3 outfits, i would still watch. Show us how you combine your nice pieces of clothing into real oiztfits and the occasions you wear them to, this would really be nice inspiration 🤗☺️

Hannah, you should look into pieces for your piercings that are press-fit / threadless ends. Incredibly comfortable, beautiful pieces from brands such as BVLA, Moll Doll, Buddha Jewelry Organics. You'll be sucked in to the world of high-end piercings. can be pricey, but often available second hand or collect over time. Your ears will thank you.
I bought a pair of skims and was ultimately disappointed in the quality. It didn’t hold up to washing. This was my same experience with good American as well. I have really enjoyed the Knicky undies I bought from your recommendation.

That Hill House Home Nap Dress has been on my wishlist for AGES and I have been stalking the website waiting for my size to come back in stock in ANY color or pattern. And after a year long search for jeans I love…I’ve kind of given up. 😩
I’ve been really enjoying investing in beautiful small batch created dresses from small businesses (I just want to live in pretty dresses). My big splurge this Summer was a linen dress from Son de Flor. And I have my eye on two dresses: One from Voriagh and the other from Of Her Own Kind.

I feel about my Good American Jeans (Kloe’s brand) as you do about the Skimz. I tried them on - loved the fit and shaping and then went “ohhh...”. My husband rightly pointed out that if anyone was going to know how to make a backside (of any size) look great... So, long story longer - I have two pair and they do fit VERY nicely.

Go for some Hanky Panky thong undies. I legitimately NEVER thought I’d ever wear thongs, but, they have been my daily wear undies for about 10 years now, and I’ll be 45 in a few weeks. No VPL ever 👍 I re-up them at the Nordy sales when they get worn out. I machine wash and dry them, and they last really well. Lots of fun colors and patterns, too.
100% agree. I regret it every time I don’t buy hanky panky. I like the boy shorts but I agree that the thongs are comfortable and I never thought I’d say that.

If you go to a eyeglass shop, they can heat up the frames a little and shape them for you. Then they will fit again.

Hannah, you should look into pieces for your piercings that are press-fit / threadless ends. Incredibly comfortable, beautiful pieces from brands such as BVLA, Moll Doll, Buddha Jewelry Organics. You'll be sucked in to the world of high-end piercings. can be pricey, but often available second hand or collect over time. Your ears will thank you.
