Hi Ethan, I just found your channel, and I Liked and Subscribed, and added you to my Saved list, so I can start saving your videos. I'm new to archery. I've just started in February 2024. I joined an archery club, took lessons, bought my first Recurve Bow, a 35 pound PSE Nighthawk, which is a similar design as a Samack Sage. I just recently bought a 64" Spyder XL, 40 pounds. I want to eventually do bow hunting. So, this content is very helpful. I will be watching. :)

Great video! You are spot-on with your information and suggestions. I find one arrow practice has been very beneficial to me in my shooting. Above all you really do have to keep practicing during the hunting season. Many of my customers fail to do that and in many cases it hurts them in the moment of truth.

Good info. I agree with the single arrow at a time. It makes every shot seem like the first shot, especially when practicing out of a tree stand.

The cat made me subscribe LOL! I have an orange tabby cat that knows exactly when the camera is on and walks onscreen constantly Haha! Good video brother!

Haha KC stumbled in one day after being dumped up the road. He is a real character and you never know what window he will appear in when we are doing stuff in the house. Welcome to the channel!

I've always practiced with no more than 3 arrows for the same reason you speak of as well as getting my steps in. After pulling my arrows I randomly drop them at various distances and shoot again. I'm limited to 23 yards.

Thats a good idea dropping the arrows. I'll try it!

The single arrow regiment is exactly what I do when practicing at home. I only shoot the one arrow because it's the only arrow I'm going to be hunting with. I do carry two extra arrows for a second shot or emergencies. But that first arrow is the only thing that matters in the world in those few seconds.
