I'm so glad I found your channel. I really want to get back into raring and breeding goldfish seriously again but I don't have the space. You totally inspired me. We share a kindred spirit.
Just found your channel and I must say I am now more interested in goldfish lol. One plus to having your fish outside is when you had that leak it didn't leak all over carpet. Subbin.
I apologize for my ignorance, I know almost nothing about Goldie's. When you are moving fish from the tank to the tub, you are calling them something that sounds like, "Tough caught," I know it isn't correct I am just wondering what name it is you are saying? I think one of my favorite aspects of Goldfish is their history, I was just watching a few Koi farming videos and now yours, to learn more about them. Love your passion for them.
Hey JahJah, long time follower. Me and my parents started our very first aquaponic pond after watching your "ThePond" and "Aquaponics" videos. I have been following your daily videos lately and I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. 1. It seems for Ranchus, Orandas, and Ryukins (fancies) you used shallow water? You don't seem to fill up the tub all the way. I know for top view ranchus they needed to be kept in shallow water when they are young to help with tail development/opening. Is this also the case with Orandas? In the daily videos it seems like the orandas in your tub are fairly large. So is there another purpose that you are keeping the water level low or is it just for the ease of cleaning and moving (since you seem to move them quite frequently). 2. I see you are also mixing Hikari Cichlid gold as well as the Jumbo Min which are both for cicchlids. Not questioning your method, I would like to learn the reasoning behind it so I could improve as well (currently have a 140 gallon tub like your previuous video for goldfish, and 300 gallon rubbermaid for Koi) Thanks in advance
James Wang thank you bro... I use shallow water because it's easier for the fry to come up and get oxygen... Also I mix the food to keep them interested in eating .
