      Great quote, Sarah. Can I ask how your Print on Demand businesses that use Printful have been effected by the long delays in fulfillment caused by the Covid-19 pandemic?

    • @WholesaleTed
      @WholesaleTed  4 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      It's been impacted in two ways 🌞
      Firstly, across the industry as a whole, there has overall been an uptick in demand: th-cam.com/video/OkXIoCRoDMA/w-d-xo.html
      Secondly, because of increased demand, Print On Demand apps struggled in the first 2-3 months of the pandemic to meet it. But now its almost back to normal. As you can see in this video, the order from Monster Digital that was made July 18th and it was produced and shipped out a few days later, arriving at its destination by July 25th 🌞

    • @WholesaleTed

      I didn't mean to be so harsh, it's difficult sometimes when we only have written text, not facial expressions & tone to go with the words we type: I've edited this comment let me try this again but kinder this time 🙏🙏🙏
      I don't think it's fair that anyone judge these sellers for selling face masks.
      Around the world, jurisdictions are making face masks a legal requirement.
      People don't enjoy wearing them, especially surgical masks, and want fun fashionable ones that go with their outfits.
      If people have to wear them, why not provide them with a fun alternative that they enjoy wearing? You are not taking advantage of a pandemic, you are brightening their day.
      There is nothing ethically questionable about that. I personally find it ethically questionable, to be so willing to jump & harshly judge others, without thinking it through. I was initially offended on behalf of these sellers, who I think are serving their customers needs at this difficult time, extremely well.
      And so I will defend anyone very strongly that sells face masks like this, because I think they are doing their customers a service by brightening their day by taking something they don't enjoy, and making it fun. 🌞

During this pandemic I’ve been working 40-50 hours a week at a job I’m growing to really not enjoy. Realizing you’re reaching a dead end at a time like this is NOT ideal. It's not how it all started, it's one of the steps she took to grow.
      And @Michelle i dont think that's true at all. Taking this video as an example; i'm not watching it for the person who made it but for the content. If she was ugly as fuck she may not show her face, but the video would be pretty much the same, and so would the growth of her channel.. because it got basically nothing to do with her.

    Here is another idea. Oil and gas royalties and mineral rights can also be a source of passive income. Mineral rights can be purchased, and most types do not obligate the mineral owner to pay any expenses related to drilling or operating the well. It's more of a long-term, purposeful strategy - not a get rich quick scheme.

    I like your videos a lot! I feel like I’m continuously learning here, it’s good. :) My question is not “does this work” but how necessary is it to advertise to make sales? And how much to advertise?

      Clue ...
      CokeaCola spend 25,000,000 a year, in advertising. Not saying anyone needs to spend this much, but only to let you know, that your question is right on point, & that advertising in the right place pending on what product you'd like to sell, is the vital key. If your fishing for a sale, and you're selling fishing lures, you better have an add in the latest fishing magazine, if you're ever to be seen
      I hope that helped to remove the grey mater in your mind, and expand your imagination. 😊

    Ask any successful author, and you will find that while each book represents a stream of passive income, they must always be writing the next book if they want to stay in the game. It is the same with musicians -- no one wants to be a "one-hit-wonder." The same thing applies to TH-camrs and to t-shirt designers. The people who say that TH-cam videos don't represent passive income just don't understand the nature of business.

    Hi Wholesale Ted! I'm learning about print on demand and the question I keep asking myself is: how ethical and environmentally friendly is it (or can be)? Thanks for your help!

    • @WholesaleTed
      @WholesaleTed  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It's the most environmentally form of manufacturing, because:
      1) You can manufacture the products in the country the customer lives in, rather than what most people do, which is manufacture products in China which means you have to ship them either to your customer or to a fulfillment warehouse.
      2) You only manufacture products customers order, so products aren't mass-created, with the intention of creating too many to ensure demand is met (which means a lot will get thrown out when they aren't bought, as is expected).
      3) You can work with clothing providers like Bella+Canvas that are WRAP certified.

    I was a manager for Wayfair. Worst job I've ever had but it taught me a lot. Wayfair doesn't make anything. Everything they sell is made by another company and it shipped mostly by them. Wayfair is just a middle man. Their costs are labor for their customer service but they don't have to buy supplies or manufacturer anything. It's why they offer free shipping and free returns. The items are so marked up that they can afford to cover the shipping. But many times the MA and pop manufacturers ended up covering the shipping. It was the price they paid for being with Wayfair.
