I’ve noticed that sometimes when you don’t follow the crowd, stay original, stay humble and authentic it makes life way more better. Love this content. The new TH-camrs with rap music and trying to be cool and tough and showing off, really just being reckless and dangerous isn’t something I’m into.
Dom you should do a "Ignitron for Dummies" video for those of us new too the game. TH-cam is sorely lacking on the basics. Love your content mate.

I’m so glad I had the camera set up at the front because i would not have believed it myself otherwise 😂. Was a well worth while trip, car feels night and day better now

Hey Dom. Thanks for the video. Really interesting to hear Bill's explanations. Thanks also for sharing the dyno chart. Have spent the last year or so resisting the urge to go for a hybrid/big turbo on my roadster and you're undermining my resolve with videos like this haha. Hope to catch up at a meet later this year.
Whatever you do don’t come out for a spin In mine then, it will seal the deal 😂. It’s not a cheap option but well worth while for sure.
Bill is a top bloke and certainly knows his way round the car well. Even a remap on performance parts will make massive difference.
Even a standard Mk１has little issues that need attending to. These cars when the work their great but most of the time small issues effect performance

Quite possibly, can be caused by a number of issues including boost leak, sensor issue, sticky actuator to name a few. Worth going to a rolling road for health check
@@TheParrottBros change all the the sensor now run a catch can so all pipes be change cambelt been done yes the timing was out..Lol so the actuator only thing left so yes may get rolling road for health check

So most TT's I see dyno in FWD only. How does the haldex work on the dyno without front wheel slip to activate the system? Love the videos. Watching from NJ USA here
This dyno is belt driven linked so all 4 rollers should move as one, also you run with traction control off as it does have the odd moment when running
I thing its handbrake up 1 notch I maybe wrong

Hey bud, there is a couple videos on my channel going through tuning options. I would recommend speaking to whoever is tuning it and tell them what your hoping to achieve as it can be as cheap or expensive as you like 😂😎

What head work have you had done? Have you changed your injectors?
@@danielelkins740 you will need bigger injectors, an updated fuel pump, for sure.
Mine has super tech valves exhaust side & springs to stop valve float, it also has cams ( not essential )
I’ve got a sytec fuel pump. Will look into valves/springs and get some injectors. Thanks.

Where did the plate end up?
Wrapped around the exhaust haha. So had to cut away the melted part and still managed to static cling it on to drive home haha

I have a question not related, Everytime I plug in VCDS into my TT it says I have a short and can't proceed. How can I find the short? Traction and ABS lights are on.
I would take the information it gives you, if it gives you a fault code and head over to Ross tech as that’s a wealth of vcds info and help
I cannot see any codes, the VCDS cannot connect because it says there a short thus can't make a connection. The cable is fine and works on other cars @@TheParrottBros
@@mewanksta11 sounds like you may have a wire issue on the obd port; I’ve had a car in the past that had a similar issue had to end to end test every cable from the plug to find the issue

You would have to enquire as I had quite a bit of work and map tweaking done. They are very reasonable

@@autospavaletingdetailing6512 the previous owner had a suspected oil burning issue, possible valve stem oil seals. But I’ve not really seen anything of concern in my ownership
Weird that’s what I thought the problem was with mine? I’ve added some Forte valve stem conditioner can’t hurt as I get a bit of blue smoke on start up as I don’t use the car much so could be the valve stem seals as if not used regularly the oil seeps down past the valve stem seals into the combustion chamber thus the smoke on start up.
@@autospavaletingdetailing6512 quite possible specially on a 20 year old car. Turbo oil seals could be on there way out also similar issues
