    Durham used to be the poor sister of the RTP trio but in the last 20 yrs it has really pulled itself together. It still has some sketchy areas, but much more of it is now gentrified.

    Where do you expect housing prices to go from here? 90% of the country wouldn't be able to buy a house right now if they didn't already own one. Not even to mention the people who don't have one. Little supply still finds demand somehow. Not even in Florida prices have come down as many expected. I just have no clue how people can pay those prices for homes given all the other expenses they have in their lives.

      Lmao, bro, no bullshit I live an hour and a half north of NYC, it used to be that pre-covid we could expect to sell our houses in NY, and then buy an equivalent house in the ft. Laduerdale, West palm, treasure coast area for literally 50% of what we sold our houses for in NY. Now it’s a 1 for 1 trade. NY home prices and Florida are the same now.
