Kristin, you are so knowledgeable on tea and bubble tea. Plus you explain things so well. I can see that your mentoring is worth getting by anyone planning on opening a bubble tea shop. They are one step ahead of the competition.
Aw. Thank you so much! That's a very kind compliment! 🥰 I appreciate you being a loyal subscriber and a long time follower of my channel and videos. I hope your bubble tea journey continues with massive success! 🧋
Love these tips, its so relatable. About the bubble buildup after you shake it up, it may be a self imposed policy thing but some shops at countries in Southeast Asia do not like serving their bubble tea with a foam buildup, as they see it as "ugly" and undesirable; even coming out from a shaker they came up with various pouring tricks and methods to minimize as much as possible foam buildup coming into serving cups

Hello kristin, thank you so much for your video they are very informative. My question is, is the milk tea creamer different from coffee creamer like coffee mate powder creamer? TIA ❤
Hello 👋🏼 It really comes down to personal preference. In all my years of working with different bubble tea creamer base products, I find that they all vary, even certain suppliers carry different brands at different price points, and the overall flavor will be different. You just want to start by using a base amount and having the only variable in the recipe be the actual creamer powder itself. So it might be worth ordering four different creamer brands and doing side-by-side comparisons one day just to see if there is any difference for you and your customers. Make sure to get at least five people to partake in this experiment. And then you'll also want to look at the overall price point of the product. For the supplier I was using I actually found that the lower price point product was better than the higher one. And often coffee mate is the most expensive option, so you definitely want to save as many pennies as possible if possible, as long as you are not compromising on overall quality and flavor. Hope that helps 👍🏻
Hello Edie, Great question. Powder is best for milk teas... Depending on your base recipe. And syrups may or may not curdle, depending on the brand. There's no one answer.🤦🏼♀️ But the easiest way to understand is that powders are for milks and milk teas... And syrups are used for fruity drinks and fruit teas. That's the basics. But through trial and error with experimentation... You can always find exceptions to these rules. 🙏🏼😇😁😂 Hope the vague answer helps... It's kind of like a riddle 😜
