Ten years after a massive stroke after a surgery. I got back walking slowly without a cane. Got back most of my arm except fingers. I haven’t given up. I have defied all odds. Neuroplasticity will keep happening til the final day of our lives.

I am a paraplegic T7 for 2 years. Atleast 6 days a week for the past 9 months (after rehabilitation ) I am doing exercises for atleast 3 hours a day including a periodic rest. 1 hour of walking with calipher and walker, 10 minutes of quadrib board, 30 minutes of dumbles, 30 minutes of push ups. I really wish you also give tips for paraplegics and spinal injury along with stroke paralysis. if you research and find out a way to recover bowel and bladder function, may God bless you

I honestly just miss my arm/hand, it's almost like losing a loved one. It's been a little over a year, I won't stop until I get it back!

I'm almost 2 years out, and I'm still working on getting lefty back. I agree with you 100%, and I believe that we still have time as long as we have determination!

Hi Tera. Im close to 18 months post left ponz hemorrhagic stroke about 2.5 cm round. This affects my walking/ balance. I have disarthria. My right hand is affected. My right leg is spastic And I🎉 have double vision. I am a real estate agent so Not being able to walk without a walker, drive myself to appointments, talking like I used to and not being able to write or type very well Affects me severely. I believe I have plateaued substantially and even regressed in some aspects. Right hand shakes more, my speaking has regressed, used to take several steps while holding my Walker in the air, not so much now. Your videos give me some hope, but it is very difficult not seeing progress. Just typing this takes me 7 times longer than it would have before my accident. Àny advice is greatly appreciated

Thank you for mentioning E STEM. I have been looking into the NURO SLEAVE. Your right it is not the answer to movement, I would like it to be. It is only should be a tool to TEACH you how to move again. I have to many memories of ten years or so ago when I used the L300 to walk. All over the USA and CANADA. I needed the dose of reality. Hugs Ernie

Always framed in respect of "involved side". I've both sides impacted by 2 strokes... soBit.

I agree, it is hard when your uninvolved side also doesn't work normally. My left leg is affected by my stroke, but I have bad arthritis in my right hip with poor range of movement, so there is no way I can use it as a model for my involved leg. The whole modelling thing works beautifully for my arms though, right arm works normally.

I believe I have an abnormal synergy pattern where My hamstrings and my quads have linked up neurologically. I've tried everything and have achieved no success at all. I have PPMS and this ASP ( abnormal synergy pattern) became noticeable about 20 years ago and cemented itself about 10 years ago. Any suggestions?

While sitting on a chair I can lift my leg 7-10 times but after few exercises I cant lift my leg that's neuro or strength issue ? Not getting improvement from 4 months .
