    What a class! I appreciate it. You showed that a good teacher does not need technology for being an excellent professional, despite its great importance in human life. I'm really amazed.

      Thanks Strogito. Technology is just another tool, but I don't think it's necessary to teach something. All you need is a good teacher, a motivated student, and the rest will take care of itself.

    Waooo! After watching this video, now i can say it's really easy to remember each & every preposition without any hesitations we can make sentences whether it's about : in , on , at , below, under, above, & over 😊 Thanks sir! You made me understand

    • @PANKAJSHARMA-su7jf
      @PANKAJSHARMA-su7jf 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sir! I have a doubt! We often use 'at' with home... it's not public building... I'm getting confused 😐 please clear my doubt.

    • @Canguroenglish
      @Canguroenglish  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are always exceptions and home is one of them. We use 'at' home but 'in' my house. One way to help you remember the difference is that your house is a physical place, but a home is more of an abstract concept, a place where you feel happy. For example your house could be your home, but maybe your office is your true 'home'!

    • @PANKAJSHARMA-su7jf
      @PANKAJSHARMA-su7jf 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok sir! I wish! I could join your school but as I'm from India so, it's a little bit difficult to come there however I have been watching your all videos as much as possible & getting something new from each video 😊👍🏻
      Sir! One more thing.. I'm aware of how to use would have , should have & could have nevertheless my question is would have been, should have been & could have been .. have same meaning?

    • @Canguroenglish
      @Canguroenglish  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      One day I will visit India and we can have a class together! 'Would have' is only part of a verb structure. It will always need a verb after. For example: 'would have eaten', 'would have gone', 'would have seen', etc. In your example you are simply using the verb 'to be': 'would have been'. I hope that answers your question.

  • @peterwilliams942
    @peterwilliams942 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Excellent explanation, the best I have seen! Why do we say "at home" and not "in home". Is it because 'home' is more of a mental condition than a place, somewhere we feel safe and secure? What do you think?

    • @Canguroenglish
      @Canguroenglish  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Peter! Thanks for your kind words. Yes, 'home' is not a place, it is a concept, so we use it the same as: 'at peace', 'at rest', etc. See you in class again soon!

    • @peterwilliams942
      @peterwilliams942 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you think "at work" is also a concept? We can also say "in work" but you could also be at work anywhere, even at the top of Mt. Everest I suppose?

    i'm a 15 y/o girl who loves english,i'm from italy and i'd like to improve my english level,thanks to your classes i'm learning much more than at school!Too bad that at school they teach us english in the normal way,just like: grammar (without any kind of fun) pretty crappy :c, they obviously teach us english with classical rules,so that's the reason why i cannot memorize some rules in english ,my teacher thinks that i'm the best of my class in english,but she said i'm too far,i've learnt many things that my classmates don't know yet,and i can talk in english in a pretty natural way,but actually(when people say i can speak english) i always say "no,i can't,i cam communicate easily but i cannot talk in english as a native person.

    Hi Christian, I have a question ? What about word "lorry", should I use IN or ON ? When I use IN, does it mean, that I´m the driver? And when I use ON, does it mean that I´m a cargo ?
    Thank you. Martin
