Thanks Dear Jayda! This is a sweet easy but delicate and complicated looking pattern and looks so lovely in your hair! I’ve been using my most favorite 1/2 dozen to a dozen different shawl patterns and shrinking them to make them into kerchiefs for the me hair which is approximately 3/4 down my back(don’t know how to measure the length in inches. But I love the cute and pretty classic look of the kerchief, in many colour ways and with many different outfits.♥️ Thanks again , take care of you guys out the in ont. we’ve got snow, sleet and rain in Alberta and Saskatchewan o et this week so it’s freezing cold after 30+° last week!! 😳☀️🥰please sun come back! But thanks for the rain as we are in serious Drought so our farm family need the moisture desperately.🙏
Oh Jayda you brought back such a good memory of my dad with this hair doo dad. I was working on the assembly line at G.M. it was hot summer, and I had some long hair, I went and bought a bunch of the big farmer’s bandanas to keep the fans from blowing my hair into my eyes. The first night I came home and made something to eat, my dad got up to go to the bathroom and stopped to steal a bite... but when he first laid eyes on me he reached for his back pocket..ah ha ha which were his old gent bloomers, and I was cracking up asking him what he was doing, he said I scared him at first and made him want to hide his wallet. No offense to anyone..I miss them so bad

Enjoy making this little project up! My girl friends and their daughters will be presently surprised when they arrive in the mail! Thanks Lion Brand and Jayda for bringing this project to us. Hoping towards next Lions Brand video. Crochet on my friends!
Adorable & so great for summer in such a light weight yarn, awesome way to look great while getting a little protection from the sun up top. Looking fabulous as always Jayda! 🤗
I've made your pattern from a older video. I've made it with a 1 weight yarn and a 3 weight yarn. Both turned out nice. The heavier yarn I wear in the winter. You make it so simple to understand and follow along. This project can be made from a beginner crocheter.
I just finished crocheting the One Country Bridges Shawl using this yarn . It was a big undertaking. It took me 3 months to finish it . But I was well pleased with it.🙂
This is absolutely adorable one more thing to add to my list I'm going to have to live another 40 years to be able to make every pattern that you've given us. 😂 Thank you so much Institches Family!! Namesta 🥰🐞🤗

Could you design one that cover all hair and ties...I dislike putting my hair up all the time and would love to be able stuck it all in to bottom. You know who years ago they wore them...at 70 with hair loss this would be a dream💐💞

Love all your working tutorials, so very helpful!! I'm planning on working your Mile a Minute Calendar once I finish the projects I'm already committed to. Do need to ask a question...does a slip stitch ever count as part of a chain 3,4 or 5 when joining to another group/boxes? Again, thank you so very much!!
Hi Terry, it depends entirely on the pattern. For example, we finish the border of this kerchief by slip stitch into the bottom of the First tie, but that's really just to neaten things off and I wouldn't count it as a stitch :)
@@JaydaInStitches thank you so much for sharing ...you do these stitches all the time routinely and the other day I wasn't sure was I doing the pattern correctly, so I asked...again thanks so much...have a great rest if the week and weekend!!
Hi Andrea, yes, you can vary the yarn/thread weight and hook size easily with this pattern, simply continue to make rows until it's the right size for your needs. I recommend you try a sampler first with a 1.50 mm hook and then up or down size your hook depending on how much you like the size and shape of your stitches and spaces. Too tight, use a larger hook, too loose, try a smaller one :)
Hi Joanna, mine thins more and more each day! I'm pretty sure it has something to do with a food allergy (those seem to be the root of all my problems), I just haven't figured out what in particular it is yet.
I can't crochet with thin yarn like that it's a medical issue could a thicker yarn be used if so would the pattern be the same or do you have one with a thicker yarn thank's
Hi! If you find handling thin yarn is difficult, you can use the lightest weight yarn you are comfortable with and a hook that creates a small, but not tight, stitch. Then, the pattern is the same - any number or rows as long as it's an odd count :)
Hi Lee, it might help to mark the peak of the Kerchief so that you know to work the "peak" part of the pattern into the same place each row. Then, make sure you're not missing and spaces or stitches along each of the 2 sides 😊
Hi Ruth, you might have missed a little space (they are pretty small). If you can't figure out where, just frog out a few shells, sneak in a sc in between split shells (into a chain or the end of a shell) and keep going :)
Hi Veena, before the lockdown, we liked to purchase our yarn at Michaels craft store and occasionally Walmart along with independent yarn/wood shops :) You can also purchase on line, Lionbrand has their own website (link in the description box). What is Cottagecore?
Hi Susan, it's the name given to a very particular aesthetic with a dreamy "English cottage garden" sort of feel to it.
