You are the one I found on Utube when I got my instant pot and wanted to learn how to use it more. Don’t stop these types of videos! We all learn from them, and the companies that sell them understand that. You collect as many pressure cookers as you can put somewhere! Companies sell more because of you, everyone wins. And I am glad you can make a few dollars as well! 💕
Also look up "Pressure Luck Cooking". The host, Jeff, is really good at explaining things and his recipes are pretty good! Jeff got me over my apprehension of using my first Instant Pot, the mini.

This is such valuable information! I had one of the 6 court units, but got this when my rice cooker wore out. Amazon gave me an amazing deal on this so i grabbed it. I used the 6 quart constantly but only used this for rice and hard boiled eggs. (How stupid does that sound?!?!) now, I want to use the ultra mini and got rid of the 6 quart. I just came back to your videos and here you are. Thank you
The company should be using your video to demonstrate how to use the pot and pay you for making it. I have the older unit which I still have not used yet since I currently have a lack of space on my kitchen counter and table.
My Ultra 60 Ultra 6 qt arrives tomorrow…. It is yogurt making time! I want a 3 qt, too but all sold out every 🇨🇦where online…and hard to find. 🇨🇦 Instant pot did not do the world any favours coming out with dozens of model names and pots that are all different from each other…Now I am going to sell my 8 qt Crock Pot. No room in cupboard to keep it! Was gifted an 8 qt Instant Pot over Christmas that is not a model for our Dr. Davis’ yogurt. It has the yogurt setting but not the custom temperature setting! Gladys🇨🇦
Nili, is this model fine to prepare the L. Reuteri yogurt in? Can I set the temp to 100F? And 36 hours fermenting time? There are so many models…with even the same names that feature different settings here in Canada! Thank you. Time for bulletproof coffee☕ Glad🇨🇦Toronto
I am one of the many people that ruined their Instant Pot by forgetting to put the liner back in.....it is easy to do believe it or not. Be sure to put the liner back into pot after you clean it😊😊😊
Someone on another channel said they were a chef, and said the instant pot doesnt have the same results as far as flavor that a slow cooker has. is that true in your onion as well? I have 3 slow cookers and had my eye on a instant pot for a long time. been watching you forever. and I love the results of my slow cooker but obviously soooo slow. LOL
Hi Nili, love your videos! Watching them encouraged me to try one. Got a quick question for you. I just received my new Ultra Mini today (my third Instant Pot) and just unboxed it. However, the pressure lid won’t fully twist so I can remove it. I can still hear the plastic bag rustling around in there. And, of course, it’s too late to call Customer Service. Have you ever encountered this before? Thanks!
Hi Barbara. I have had that happen and it was with a mini ultra too! If you turn the pot around, on the back edge of the lid (down past the float valve and pressure valve you some see a little metal pin. When you twist the lid you should see the pin pop out a bit. I was able to open mine by getting pliers and pulling that pin manually until the pot unlocked. After a while it did loosen up and didn't happen as often. Hope that helps!
Indigo Nili Rats! Using pliers didn’t work. The pin was already out as far as it would go. I probably won’t hear back from Customer Service until Monday so thanks for answering so quickly. I really appreciate it. Have a terrific weekend!
Mac Daddy, having a detachable cord has its disadvantages. It can easily get misplaced or lost, especially if one is moving. You may sometimes be glad that is is permanently attached. 😄
Delightful...so beneficial watching you use the functions & show us the way things work on this. When using the QR....if you decide to stop & go to NR do you press the QR button & it will stop? I have just gotten this Ultra- Have fun Nili- I know I will..thanks for showcasing this! Perfect timing :)
@@osakarose5612 Glad you brought that up...:) I-Pots may react differently to whatever is in them....if any foaming, etc occurs with quick release the best thing is to switch right over to natural ....then if desired go back to QR as it has stopped. Changing functions as such often solves that problem....Hope this helps with understanding why one might need to switch from QR to natural.or go back to QR once again to avoid overcooking the pasta...This Ultra has a different set up with pushing down button to start the QR...not knowing if pushing the button once again to go to Natural if spraying is happening is a good thing to know... :)
There are plenty of times that I have started a quick release and need to flip it back to sealing because it wasn't quite ready for a QR. Having the ability to flip it to sealing at a moments notice is an importation safely feature. I'm glad the question was asked
You've said in the past that you have a small house/kitchen so have you found great storage options for all your IP's or have you eliminated a few older models?
I've given away several... I also store ones I don't use daily in my attic or garage. If it weren't for this TH-cam channel I certainly wouldn't have as many as I do. A lot of people find value in my showcasing the different models so I try to offer those kinds of videos whenever I can. It's nice that I can explore all the different features and models and make some money in the process! Yay for TH-cam! And hopefully it helps someone out in the process!
I have the 6 quart Ultra. The reason I bought it is because it can be set for high altitude. I live at almost 9000 feet in the Colorado Rockies. Does the 3 quart have that option?

You forgot to promote the lid hanger. It was listed on the box, but not in the manual, and took me a few minutes to figure out.

I love the push button simplicity of my Lux Mini and just use the basic options but I do so wish that my unit came with the detachable cord....

Good question! I haven't tried it yet but the manual says to just slightly turn the quick release button until it pops back up into sealing position.
