Metal Gear Solid: The Board Game brings the beloved video game franchise to your tabletop!
In this cooperative game designed by Emerson Matsuuchi and illustrated by Marco Checchetto, players take on the role of their favorite video game characters and experience stealthy gameplay and intricate storylines.
The game includes over 20 detailed miniatures of the characters from the Metal Gear Solid video game, and 2 ways to play. The VR Mission Book contains 6 independent Missions that can be played at any moment with any player count. For an additional challenge, players can also choose to experience the Shadow Moses campaign, playing across a 14 Mission-campaign.
By participating in this pre-order, you will get an exclusive edition of the Board Game, the Integral Edition, which features a fully illustrated 109-page graphic novel, bringing each Mission of the campaign to life, and an exclusive, 13cm tall Metal Gear REX miniature!

Awesome stuff. Yesterday, I receive my Supernatural Zombicide goodie and today I pre-ordered MGS. This coincided with my decision of moving away from KS due to a Mythic fiasco.
Hopefully, you will keep preorders and if you crowdfund (your move to Gamefound). KS is rotten.

There's been a boom recently for all those board game adaptations of classic games and im all here for it. Definitely pre-ordering this in near future, please make more of these!
Other MGS installments, Silent Hill, Tenchu, all the classic games we love, please make them into board games. Im thinking of time i will be playing this with my kids in years to come, oh joy! Please please keep making those!

Ahhhh so thats what happened to the MGS board game that was on a crowd funding site awhile back. I supported it then it died. Nice to see it finally coming out.

A Dino Crisis or Resident Evil board game would be cool. At this point board games made after old video game franchises are the only kind of tabletop game i am interested in.

I normally thing these kinds of Tabletop board game versions of Video game franchises are a interesting curio at best.....but this might actually be a lot of fun to play if it's actually emulating stealth
there are precious few games that emulate the "stealth action" genre...
- V-Sabotage, a coop game in vein of the Commandos series, although stealth is a bit abstract (board is zone-based and there's no real line-of-sight rules)
- Warhammer 40k: Assassinorum: Execution Force, a coop game with some similarities to how the rules of this MGS game work, although quite janky and very short-lived.
- Ninja: The Legend of Scorpion Clan and Sniper Elite: The Board game - both are competitive games with a "hidden movement" mechanic for the "infliltrator" side, but Sniper Elite also has a solo mode. The fact that those are competitive games means that, by necessity, some of the stealth factor is compromised by mechanics (e.g the stealth player needs to basically reveal they just went through an objective location if they want to check it and complete it)

I want a Goldeneye Board game were you have James Bond (007), Jack Wade, Zukvosky and Natalya Simonova as your playable board game players and Alec Trevalyan, Xenia Onatopp, Boris Grishenko, General Arkady Ourmurov, Soviet soldiers and Janus mercenaries as enemies. This game is we’re you must to infiltrate those board themed stages based on the movie and game like, the Dam, Facility, Farrell’s Yacht, the statue park, the KGB Archives, St. Petersburg, Janus Depot, the train, Cuban Jungle and the Janus inside and outside Cradle base to sabotage Goldeneye satellite in order to win the game like the one that made from this video.
I just jumped up in shock and excitement. Sooo happy it's happening!

You guys made a Metal Gear Solid board, but I have no doubt that in 1 or 2 expansion trailers we won't have " Rules of Nature ", if you know what I mean... (but, I'm not complaining... )
Those minis look sick, but it must be a pain in the ass having to use tweezers to change the magazines of the weapons after firing all the time. I hope they give every mini a bandana.

I looked through the preorder page and had no idea what the game even was, how characters moved, what they were trying to do, nothing. The rulebook is about half finished too. Also, if the MGR miniature is exclusive to the preorder, what is it normally represented by, just a huge piece of cardboard?
