when will i know that i am loved

i don’t understand love. throughout my life I’ve been told that i am loved. that my family, creator, and others care for me on a level i could never comprehend. yet sometimes i feel empty. like I’m missing something more, something built off self discovery and happiness in the littlest of things. that i'm missing someone. i know i'll find them one day, but i wish they were here now. it's selfish, but it's true.

i ask myself that question a lot as well, i often feel like i have never been loved deeply and intimate. I often feel like i am just another friend, i rarely been more than just one of many friends, i never been more than just an option, at least that what it feels like, im 18 almost 19 now and i cant see myself being in an actual deep friendship in the future or any type of relationship, maybe its just the way i act and react....

I've come to accept that sometimes you just can't be that person to help someone, because your not who they want to recieve help from. In return you get taken for granted and left behind. Always be willing to help others, but never put them before yourself. Otherwise you too will crumble.

You don't need to be loved, excpet if you want some specific person to love you.
continue your journey through this temporary life, love will get along your way itself. there's no need to focus on it. focus on the path, find happiness. the only love that is necessary is self-love

Only love can break your heart though so do without. There is some expectation "love" is a pleasant experience but that's not also so sometimes it's just a waste of time sometimes it's even worse than that just an emotional imbalance.
