I remember playing the previous political machine. That game was a lot of fun. I was able to get all of the achievements. I will make sure to give this game a try as well anyway I hope everything‘s been fine with you old friend

'Kamala Harris, a politician I absolutely hate' - dang, it's so uncanny watching this three months later, in the midst of her honeymoon period as presidential nominee! Good video! I'm not terribly experienced with this game, but it seemed to me that too much emphasis was placed on setting up political ads and doing fundraising. Setting up some campaign HQs early on (especially when you had that initial mountain of cash) would have helped, especially if you got the fundraising upgrades in New York or California, and speeches during the final stages would have done more than advertisements as those seem to have a more long-term effect. I've found that trying to flip Texas or Florida can be a bit like shouting into the abyss. Focusing on the key battleground states that form the path to victory followed IRL tends to work better for me. That being said, it's just so horrible playing as Biden because of the stamina shortage and that really left you hamstrung. Trump left an advertisement in Washington which went unchecked and won him the state, and you just couldn't be everywhere.
The funny part is that irl "sleepy joe" is campaigning across the US while what i like to call him.. "sleepy don" is falling asleep in the courtrooms 😂😂😂😂
They’re both terrible, I’ve been sold on the lesser of two evils model for decades now. At the end of the day both parties are full of geriatrics and out of touch wealthy politicians. My future has been sold to the highest bidder.
Moderate answers don't leave you for room to be attacked. And opponents with stronger issue scores can capitalize on it by picking the same answer and getting more fan fare for it.
Got into it for about 5 hours after it got released yesterday. It was fun, but don't really feel like playing it much more. Is it worth buying? Well, only if you want to spend the money for a limited amount of fun.
I won't be getting this game. You said in the video that this game is fair but its really not fair at all because Trump was able to own like half of the united states before you were even starting your candadacy.
So that's not entirely true, the control reflects the general voting record of said states. For instance, Trump will almost always win in a state such as Alabama. But that color can be changed depending on the time you spend there as well as the TV ads you put there. As an example I managed to turn Texas Blue as Bernie Sanders.
Not for me but it is great for those that love that genre type of games. Why? Because of the plot twist: Senator Palpatine rigged the election to become Emperor....heh. Thank you for the video! 👍

You made the Hillary Clinton mistake of focusing too much on states like Florida and Virginia rather than Pennsylvania and Minnesota.
