Such a cute idea. I did the same thing for powdered unicorn horn! I put white holographic glitter in a cork bottle (with a few of those shells) painted a shell pearly and stuck it on top! Love your videos ❤️
eylul demir it may not mix as well, you may end up with some clumps. You may want to mix your powder food coloring with a couple drops of water to make it more liquidy and then mix it in. I hope that helps, thanks for watching!
Oh Wow!! I loved this as usual! My "Adult" daughter has a white horse that she dresses as a Unicorn every Halloween so she loves EVERYTHING UNICORN!...Guess who will be receiving this lovely creation?!..lol I loved the way you utilized the seashell for the horn!....Thank you...:)))
Looks like I better make a trip to Dollar Tree soon! I can get the hair (They have little braided headbands with a long braid in white & pale blonde; I think they're called "Ice Princess") and the bottles there. And probably even cording.
I really like the overall concept of this potion bottle. Especially since I want to have a set of bottles dedicated to the wand cores. (unicorn hair, dragon heart string, phoenix feathers) I think the unicorn horn as the stopper embellishment is cute. However ... There is one thing that you didn't take into account. Since unicorn blood is supposed to be silver, and you used silver hot glue drips to adhere the shell/horn. It kind of looks like you ripped the horn from the head of a living unicorn and the blood dripped down the bottle. It's a bit morbid from that perspective, especially after the comment about humanely collecting the unicorn's hair. I think, if I recreate this for my own collection I will try attaching the horn differently. It may not work, but I personally would rather not have the dripping with blood look to my bottle. Attempt #1 1st - I would paint the sides of the cork silver. 2nd - put a small amount of silver hot glue on the top of the cork for a base to set the horn in, just enough to cover the top of the cork and not spill over. 3rd - squeeze 1 or 2 pumps of the silver hot glue inside the shell itself. 4th - apply the shell, and let the glue from inside naturally settle out onto the cork top. 5th - add little touch ups of glue around the base of the shell, but not enough to cause a drip effect. Attempt #2 1st - carve out a small hole on the top of the cork to rest the shell base in. 2nd - pain the cork a color to match the horn 3rd - apply glue inside the carved out hole of the cork and maybe a little inside the shell itself. 4th - press the horn into the hole of the cork top, and let dry. Attempt #3 1st - try to cut off the awkward base to the shell so that it is a smooth, and flat at the base. 2nd - apply just enough hot glue to the top of the cork and inside the shell to seal the two parts together.
You could also forgo the sticking it on top of the bottle approach and instead use silver twine or fishing line to tie the "horn" to the bottle as a charm, sanding down the bottom so it looks less ragged (and filling it, if you choose, with glue painted pearly white), like the unicorn just shed the horn instead of having it cut or ripped off. It omits the "blood" aspect completely but keeps the horn as part of the overall bottle
Cooking and Craft Chick are they the ones in the link for this video description? When I ordered them, they seem to melt grey, with not silver. Yours always seem nice and metallic silver.
I love how you used silver hot glue so that it resembled the unicorn blood that you did for Harry Potter! 💗
Great minds think alike. I used the same seashell for a bottle of Ground Unicorn Horn a few years back.
I would like to thank you for posting such amazing tutorials. Love from Pakistan.
A Unicorn summoning potion would be neat to have a little Unicorn collection
Can you do a dragon heart strings bottle, please.
Bill Hall it’s on my list for future bottles 😉
You are a meticulous genius! This turned out awesome! Tyfs.
These potion videos are my guilty pleasure 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Thank you for sharing!!!!❤️

Hi there! So i was wondering, can ı use powdered food coloring when i'm making a normal potion using styling jel?

@@CookingandCraftChick thank you for the answer!
I tried to print the Unicorn Hair label and couldn't find it in the link. I found all your other labels, but not this one, and I love this idea!

Becky Murphy I swear my Dollar tree had every color of hair except for white so I hope yours has it. 😄 happy hunting and making! 💙
I'm starting a all Harry Potter youtube channel. What do you recommend I should start off with?
gorgeous and magical! :)
Could the labels be used for mini potions?.. I’m making mini potions 😊 I absolutely love your channel!
You would just have to resize them
Is it okay if I ask, where did you get the shell from? 🙂
Shanice Ball mine was in a bag of assorted shells from JoAnn fabrics.
@@CookingandCraftChick oh okay. Thank you

Something else you could try is putting hot glue into the shell then attaching a nail, that way you can just push it into to cork!
I didn’t think about it looking like blood 😬 but I think your other attempts would definitely work too.
@@celestetyler8676 Yes, that's also a great idea, thanks.

So pretty !!
Wow, love this!! 💕😊
I love your potion bottles so much! This is another great one. I just wondered, What size bottle did you use?
Kristabelle it is 3” x .86” I hope that helps thanks for watching! 💙😊
@@CookingandCraftChick thank you!! I'll look for that size. ☺
Lovely 😊
Where do you purchase your mini silver glue sticks
Carlo Polisena I got mine off of Amazon the ones in the store harem to always have glitter in them. 😕

lol! 😂 Thank you! 👏
Can you make a veela's hair too?
israel lopez garcia that may be a future video.
That one dislike is just Voldemort. Lol! 😊💗
I know that Phoenix feather is stronger but I want my wands to be made with Unicorn tail hair.
Anyone else having trouble downloading the label? :(
Nisha Patel I updated the post you shouldn’t have any problems now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Cooking and Craft Chick Thanks so much! Can’t wait to keep making your crafts and excited to see what’s in your book!
