- Ghost just arrived in Marvel Snap, and I wanted to try her out in an On Reveal combo deck. It was bad and Ghost felt bad in it, but I haven't given up hope for Ghost just yet, despite the lack of positive buzz around the card so far.

I hate playing decks that completely rely on hoping that the opponent doesn't have Cosmo, but they are usually the most fun.
I have no problems with these cards, I have problems with Snapster using Cerebro 3 as a meme deck!!!

Analysis of Ghost's effect's impact in every game
Game 1- No Ghost was played.
Game 2- Ghost was played but never changed priority.
Game 3- Ghost was played on the final turn, so no priority change happened.
Game 4- No Ghost was played.
Game 5- Ghost was played but never changed priority.
Game 6- No Ghost was played.
Game 7- Ghost was played but never changed priority.
Game 8- Ghost "played" and changed priority on turn 4 and turn 5. However, none of the interactions were changed.
Game 9- Ghost was played but never changed priority.
Game 10- No Ghost was played.
Total power gained by Ghost vis-a-vis Misty Knight: 0
@@XoIoRougeo it shouldn’t. It’s a card waiting for future cards/ different meta. Last season it was seen as better to lose priority. There is also an argument that a card like old leader would probably have ran ghost
But without Ghost he wouldn't have a catchy youtube video title!
@@XoIoRouge maybe raise the power to 3 and change effect to "invert reveal order" as in loser reveal first.
Maybe the way to use her is to protect cards that in a deck that typically has priority
Recently I got cerebro and was so happy to try cerebro 2 as it always seemed like such a fun archetype using cards I really loved,
I'm my first like 5 games with it I got monster islands and monster metropolises and just locations that messed with the deck completely, seeing it happen to Regis too makes me feel a bit better sometimes
In regards to changing location occurence rates, my big request is make the ones that add to your deck or mess with your deck rarer, lamentis, lechguilla, vibranium and similar ones just make games a lot less interesting and if you get 2 in one game it makes the game basically a top deck contest
I threw Beast into my C2 exclusively because of Monster Island.
If you want to get rid of monster island just make sure to have beast, even if you don't get it, beast is always a good option to repeat on reveal effects anyways or save your cerebro form getting enchantred
Anyhow, c3 is a good option if you think c2 ain't that strong, I'll say, I'll always be grateful cerebro was one of my first pool 3 cards, the archetype is just so much fun to play
I feel like Vibranium Mines should be more common than the other rock ones. At least those are OK cards, sometimes you actually want them.
I feel like every time I queue up with Mr Negative and have him in my opening hand, I see attilan and no psylocke >:( my most hated area by far

Regis seems much happier playing this than that other card game 😒… I don’t play snap but it’s nice that there’s an alternative when the HS burnout sets in
I mean, yes, honestly. But it's not like I hate playing Hearthstone. It's still fun, just not as fun as Snap.
To be honest, the Snap community is usually nicer on average too. Hearthstone seems to have a lot more grumpy know-it-alls and Snap people are just chill and having fun.
@@RegisKillbin maybe its just the state of the game right now that enables the toxicity to flourish, but I’ve played hearthstone long enough (since argent tournament) to know that it’s ok to take some time off when metas are unfun or if it becomes more of a chore to play.
I can’t speak for all HS players but I support you in doing whatever brings you joy!
@@RegisKillbin Its nice to see these decks that use all the upper series cards, since its so hard for the average joe to get them. We cant be know it alls when we havent played with or against these cards

I feel like I'd appreciate ghost in my sera counter deck. I find myself skipping turns or playing cards in suboptimal lanes just to make sure the opponent has priority in some MUs.
Ghost as a 1 drop ongoing sounds like a minor boost to spectrum. If you want to try that.

Ghost is a 1 mana card, not being so impactful is not really a problem. Just guarateeing being the last in some games is enough (even if you probably would be already)

Other 1 cost cards can be much more impactful, for example bast, who can give you like 10 stats for 1 mana
You said this deck isn’t a deck for climbing, what deck should I use for climbing in pool 3 if I have no aero or death or wave?
In that second game you didn't have to be scared of cerebro + mystique on turn 6 because of crimson cosmos and cosmo being in the middle lane. So it would have been cerebro + another 3 power card
I recently stopped playing to take a break this season the burnout is real barely unlocking any new cards makes the game so boring but these videos are so fun to watch these new cards in action
It is good that the cards getting dropped into Series 5 are not all meta changing, because we don’t need a new card that is a build-around card for a top tier deck every week, or even every month, and we certainly don’t need a lot of new cards that raise the ceiling on how many points a tier 1 archetype can push or that smash meta decks gated behind 6000 collectors tokens. Obviously it doesn’t make a lot of sense to buy Shadow King or M’Baku, but that’s great for all of us who don’t spend $30 per day on tokens to be able to buy every Series 5 card. I do think Ghost makes sense in decks like Hazmat, but it is a good thing that nobody feels like they’re paywalled from climbing because they can’t get this card.
I also expect that, when a larger swath of the player base gets access to these cards after series drops and starts experimenting with them, we’ll find some more interesting things to do with them.

i got lockjaw recently and now all i get is Lechuguilla, Subterranea, and Vibranium Mines every other game
I think Ghost's potential is going to be mostly in tournament settings, if she emerges on the ladder I can only see it as Aero/Magneto set up or to protect a Shuri target from Shang. But I'm just a dude, who knows, maybe the card just sucks for ladder.

If you want a Hazmat combo deck that actually works, try this one.
I've used it to get to Infinite every season since Luke Cage came out and it has great success.
You could easily swap out Mister Sinister for the Ghost if you wish.
Very straight forward gameplan that relies on drawing you entire deck with AW, going turn 5 Magic, Turn 6 Sera (+Bast on highroll) and then use the full combo on turn 7 with Wong > Mystique > Hazmat > Luke.

i stopped playing combo decks like this because everyone always seems to have an answer or they just felt really clunky
I can really only see Ghost being useful as Shang Chi's buddy, but if you need Shang, they probably already have priority...
It's also useful as an anti Shang

why did wave in game 1 2:13 make turn 2 and turn 3 cards all cost 4? Why the the effect last two turns?? Seems like a discrepancy between the card text and how it actually interacts with sakaar.
Yeah, Wave's card text is simply wrong. It actually makes all cards cost 4 until the end of next turn. And, of course, it doesn't ACTUALLY make all cards cost 4 because cost reduction is added on top.
In a Continue deck its the perfect pick, in turn 4 yoy can play cards knowing that at least that card isn't going to be affected by enchantress and you dont have to worry as much vs shadow king/valkyrie in turn 6 destroying your spectre powerspike
I think ghost can be decent in a cerebro 2 deck. Cerebro is extremely vulnerable to enchantress, and with Ghost, you can safely play it along with mystique at final turn.
What about using Viper to send Ghost to the opponents side?

I'd imagine that she's good in a Sera Control deck. Usually I have turn priority when going against heavy hitter decks that start playing turn 4 or 5. So I'm usually not able to Shang Chi or Enchantress. Good value for 1 cost card.
This deck looks so fun to play. The sad thing is that I got all the cards except Psylocke,Ghost and Hazmat. If I knew that I was going to get Luke Cage I would have bought her for collector tokens when I had the opportunity to buy her.
I played a similar deck to infinite with gambit and iron heart and sera instead of luke cage and hazmat.
Ghost would be beneficial in combination with Killmonger against ultron decks, that is the only reason I have wanted the card since announcement.

in the fist game the opponent can't even play mystique, because right location is clog, there's cosmo at mid, at left there's crimson location
Cards should be released with a power level in mind that will determine if they will be a released as a pool 5,4 or 3 card. They should also remove avatars and tiltes from Collecter Caches, pulling one feels disgustingly bad everytime.
Maybe Ghost with a large point deck would be better? (Red skull/Shuri type deck)

I hope you add ghost to your agatha deck. I think she will work amazing with shu chi. I play a similar deck for fun and wonder if ghost would be worth the tokens.
The issue with that is if you draw Ghost on 3, there's a 50% chance you keep Agatha in hand instead of playing it out with Wave or Sif. Ghost might be able to fit in a Sera tech deck though or maybe a Zero Shuri deck to avoid Shang-chi.

@@polterkitty3639 Yes, but on turn 3, you're hoping to play Lady Sif or Wave to cheat out Agatha, and Ghost can interfere with that. If you draw Ghost on 3, then Agatha might play Ghost instead of the turn 3 you were hoping for.
I pulled this card this morning for free at CL 2878 .. inwoukdnt pay 6k for it but glad I pulled it for all the new decks to see for it lol
I just got Ghost from a collector’s reserve, now I used up all my luck and won’t get any cards from reserve for a long time

On the first game The enemy couldn't have played Mystique because of the Crimson Cosmos + Cosmo.
I always thought of ghost as an anti control card.
Ghost screams that it wants to be in a sera-miracle deck. Loke that acrh-type loves losing initiative so it can Shang chi and enchantress anything you want. I've noticed woth the latest version, its hard to lose initiative if you've played rescue or hot your destroy early. Ghost would allow you to ous those big power plays and still react as you need on the last turn. Tok bad I won't get Ghost for another 4 months :(
Haven't even watched the video yet but that effect of ghost worries me, initiative manipulation on a 1 drop sounds so good

I'd be more worried if they printed a card with the opposite effect, that you always went FIRST.

I thought I could use ghost in a hela deck, but I could easily be killmongered or destroyed by electra.
I wish you would have played creatively with the bar with no name and hazmat without Luke cage to be the lower power, but I mean I’m not sure how it really would have worked

i think you play ghost WITH a card same turn if you reveal first. play ghost first then probably makes your cards after wait for opponent then come back to them. probablyt a situational card.
also think about running viper too. just in case you want to throw the card on your opponentsa side making it better for you if its needed.

Interesting retention strategy to start the video with a non-game
Well, no, it's not a retention strategy. It's what is best for the viewer in order to set up the context of the deck and the video without distractions.
I think lots of people make the mistake of sacrificing the viewer experience in search of pleasing the almighty algorithm. If I shed some folks with short attention spans in the effort of better educating and informing my viewers, that's a good trade.
@@RegisKillbin but it’s not even a game that shows the downsides of the deck. It starts with the Sakaar Wave glitch that skips two turns. Any deck with wave could lose to that interaction.
@@aimless262 Hahaha, I thought you meant *literally* not a game, as in the intro discussion. I know some people cold open on a game, so I thought you meant that.
That first game was the most entertaining, and one of the few where Ghost had an actual impact on their power, so it goes first, and it had to go in order before game 2 because they were linked across the same opponent and showcased the Cosmo weakness, so it felt good to get that story early.
To address your initial point, I do think game choice and order is important to tell the story of a deck. That's hard to get perfect, but I try to arrange games in a way that showcases the deck across a couple factors. Depending on the games I have, usually something like (2 games where the card/deck did the thing you want and won, 1 game where it didn't work exactly but still won, 1 game where you show how it loses, then from there just a repeating mix of the above)
