I adore Anthony Andrews' acting, his expressions at every moment, his eyes registering his thoughts. He is an impressive actor. I am only sorry his career has not been larger and his choice of parts has not been worthy of his talents. The music and video were put together skillfully. These songs have grown on me. I wish I had seen the Broadway play in New York 20 years ago, but I was busy with other forms of performance.
I love these combinations of songs from the Broadway musical with scenes from the superb 1982 film. If only the musical were revived on Broadway, but I doubt it could ever equal the 1982 film, with its stellar, brilliant cast.
