I went to school at independence university for business and sad to say I didn’t finish but I would like to go back because I want to open up my own business one day. Folks should also keep in mind that, although some schools are not requiring this year's applicants to submit a GMAT score, if you're a strong test-taker, you could arguably be at a little bit of an advantage over other applicants if you do take the GMAT and submit a score that is above the school's median score for last year's admitted class.

well no disadvantages for getting in but consulting and ib firms use gmat scores to gauge your ps ability which means you'll have ab upper hand at employment in highly sought after firms
I feel so awful because I can't sit for my GMAT or IELTS this year as everything is still closed, till next year. I am looking at Cambridge, LSE, LBS and Birmingham. So thanks, but I guess I won't be able to start my application this year😭😭😭

Hey On the LBS website it says there 4 100% tuition fee, scholarships. The Laidlaw women's leadership fund. Did you not include this in the scholarship part of your video or like does the scholarship not include the entire amount. Yes 😊 The school does not need your final exams to accept you, they will just require you to send your full transcript before you start. You can get accepted well before you final exams.

Hello Cui. I know quite a few students who used their CFA as the gmat waiver. If you have great extra-curriculars, positions of leadership, and valuable work experience, you might be able to outweigh the lower GPA. For languages, because LBS is a very international school it is quite common for people to be multilingual - this is not a requirement though, neither is it something LBS will put emphasis on.

If you are going into second year then you still have a lot of time! I would say start studying in the summer after your third year, and then take the exam around Sep-Nov if you want to get your application in early. If that does not matter to you, then you can do it later and apply in the second half of the rounds.
@@cloudsjoo Cheers, I am also a QM student so I was wondering in terms of internships(well I was thinking to get one this summer but due to COVID, plans were held back), do you believe that by having a few internships can deteriorate application procedure? The only work experience I can think of is a summer internship I did in summer of 2018 if that is even still valid to this day. I will apply for more, thinking to even practice online tests.

You can convert and check if you fit the criteria
Total gpa divided by maximum gpa multiplied by 4

For most countries you can sit the GMAT at home.

Yes, you can apply with a CFA Level 1. I would advise going on the LBS website, there is a list of MFA student ambassadors :)

A full time offer isn't guaranteed, LBS helps you with different resources but ultimately it comes down to your own abilities

usually you should be applying to your intake the year before (e.g. If I want to start in September 2023, I'd apply in September 2022)
