The 3rd tip in the beginning of the video is the reason I love Apex. To really play at a truly high level you have to attack with your team like a pack of Raptors. A lot of people are afraid to play this way and never improve or enjoy it because of this.
Honestly I think if you’re playing solo then committing too hard is not a good idea if it’s a bad fight. For example if my teammates want to push a fight mid-game in the middle of the map then I’m not going with them because that will 99% of the time end in minimum 3 other teams 3rd partying us. No point throwing away rp
@@ipzee3748 Absolutely, especially if you guys have gone through the very risky situation of eliminating a squad early game. The main objective in ranked is not fighting, its capturing power positions and defending them. For example, in my solo queue to master grind I had a game where I had 5 KP but ended the game with +12 RP. Why? Solo queue teammates become desperate and impatient. We had a super powerful position on height deep inside circle by Orbital Cannon. We engaged a squad and killed 2. My teammates proceeded to totally abandon my position to chase this last guy across the whole map almost to Terminal where they both die to a 3rd party after finally killing this last guy. I died trying to pick them back up. So you see, always go for the smartest rotational and positional play. Sometimes that means staying in one spot for 5+ minutes. Yes it is really painful, I don’t usually play rank but I can atleast give some tips and stuff In Diamond or Plat what you really need to improve is the speed on how you down a player, 1v1’s, Decision making, Rotations and Team work. This may be cancerous to say but I highly suggest trying out Gibby and bubble fighting, Gibby’s bubble can change the tides of fights so many times. I usually main Path but as always when I reach diamond I start to struggle with him, but when I changed to Gibby that started changing, my win rates in Diamond started increasing and the rate of us getting picked off easily became so low. If one goes down you can just bubble then ult then run, you won’t get pushed. Most important thing, bubble fights are so important, the comparison of fighting in the open compared to bubble fighting is so distant. The chance of winning 2v1’s in bubble fights increases, Gibby + Mastiff is a must go, Mastiff can triple pump a full health purple armour player withint 2-3 seconds if you hit their body. Fighting style, what I usually do in bubble fights is the peek strategy, basically the bubble is a dome, what I do is in the farthest side is crouch there, use your arm shield. If you stand up, your upper body pops out of the bubble protected by the arm shield, Pump one to the enemy, crouch, then if he enters shoot him again then repeat. The amount of times this helped me clutch 2v1’s are very very huge. Rotations, I highly suggest rotating early or having Valk in your team. Most of my deaths in ranked came from random encounters while rotating and I really suggest to just try not to get knocked while rotating. Positioning, this is really difficult, keep playing the game and you’ll eventually used on how the rings work and those small spots are valuable, pick spots where theres no angles that can damage you and choosing spots where its hugging the zone is highly suggestible. Lastly, decision making is the most difficult part. It’s either take everything or lose it all, I learned a lot from watching ALGS or the tournaments and it’s actually helping me a lot, timing, rotations, shot callings and etc. Always think of the domino effect If you want to know more, just tell me. Can a normal player reach Masters? No, the short answer is no. You have to spend a stupid amount of time and have a really good squad to even get to diamond 2-1, let alone masters will be near impossible. The only people I know that have gotten to masters are people that play this game for more than 5 hours a day and with a good team
Just back into this game. Stopped at the end of season 4 but f has a lot changed! All good tho, managed to complete the battle past in 3 weeks. Started the grind yesterday for ranked, yeeee boy 🤙
I think anything past plat couldn't really be considered a normal player because normal would be the majority of players base and considering only around 30% of base make it to plat or higher last time I looked at rank stats there just considerably above normal player's

getting xp for playing with friends os such a shot on people without friends to play the game with
what a group of guys, sapppy is a real one!
normal player: 3 stacking with 2 other "normal" players
KANDY I PUSHED MYSELF AND HIT MASTERS!
Good shi bro
You’re the craziest “normal” player ever.
1:30 that is by far the most frustrating type of person to play with. They dont want to die so now they get to solo the rest of the lobby and die anyway. It's a video game, you won't feel pain irl...
1 video about kandy having 1000 h in paex and now a video about him being a normal player
Hit master for the first time this season. 11 days in diamond solo q with Loba
😂😂 I'm a gibby main. But I had to bring loba out to get me higher on the ranks too lmao
@@Seancar4 16k kills on loba. I main her
Kandy if you are a normal player, then apparently, I'm Benjamin Button. Nonetheless, great video Kandy! I'd love to collaborate with you sometime!
Can a normal player reach Masters? No, the short answer is no. You have to spend a stupid amount of time and have a really good squad to even get to diamond 2-1, let alone masters will be near impossible. The only people I know that have gotten to masters are people that play this game for more than 5 hours a day and with a good team
Yay! Normal player series is back!
Just back into this game. Stopped at the end of season 4 but f has a lot changed!
All good tho, managed to complete the battle past in 3 weeks. Started the grind yesterday for ranked, yeeee boy 🤙
If there was any season to do it, this was the one! Good job!
My bro plays almost everyday with pro players, since season 0 got Predator before and still call himself normal player 😭
@12:37 This clip is a beauty. Taking them out, all at once.
"just need a win" *cuts to both teammates dead* x.x
That gameplay had my undivided attention.
"I haven't played Ranked in years" first game on TH-cam he gets Masters from Diamond 4... :'D
What if you don't have friends to play with
I remember when being a bloodhound main was sad ..... gone are the days we rule now
Can confirm soloing to master is rough. Did it though but at what cost… everything
“I dont grind ranked” is currently on stream as we speak grinding ranked💀💀💀💀
5-8ms ping server + Quality investment of time = Masters
I think anything past plat couldn't really be considered a normal player because normal would be the majority of players base and considering only around 30% of base make it to plat or higher last time I looked at rank stats there just considerably above normal player's
*KANDY, YOU ARE NOT A NORMAL PLAYER, YOU ARE A VERY GOOD PLAYER.*
i guess i can call you, master kandy
Imagine Kandy, Staycation and ShivFPS on the same team, easy tournament W 🏆
I don't think kandy is as cracked as shiv or other preds
Can you make an video about fps tips maybe
Step 1: Get friends to play with
Step 2: Get gut
Yo Kandy
Funny timing. I just got Diamond solo q yesterday.
You're absolutely right, solo q is not viable - well at least not hereafter (D+)
The title should be:
"Can a full steamer Apex Legends content Creator reach Master Rank?
Factz and my problem before was always reloading after a few shots 🙃🙃 NOT ANYMORE. Me realizing that really helped and not pushing on my own too. 🙏🏽🤙🏽
ahh yes the normal player that owns every heirloom and makes a living off of streaming and playing this game lmao
Since S8 pretty much anyone can reach Master if they put in the work. It's not hard to reach, but it's hard to get into the right mindset and be consistent.
i love how hes still a "normal" player even tho EA sends him custom stuff lol
The true test is solo que like a lone Mandalorion. It is the way.
“Normal player” please. You are goated
"I'm a normal player" *hits masters*
Hey Kandy, the quality of your clips is enormously good. What settings (resolution, bit rate, codec, ...) do you use for uploading your vids on youtube? Kind regards
you might not be the best at apex but you got the vibes there
This is my 4th season on plat (and kinda stuck) now i know that good teammates are important
I am Dia 3 at the moment but I dont have the time to grind to master, so a normal player could possibly hit master if he has enough time.
