Surf Fishing, Camping, and Summer species took us by surprise! Feat. Kobs, Leervis and Bronzies

  • I thought I would do something a little different this time around. Instead of species-specific targetting let's try filming one of our beach camping adventures now that it's starting to warm up a little. There's also a bit on reading surf formation (and why waves break) which can be a bit tricky to understand at first.
We were quite surprised to see how the summer troops were out in full force, considering that October had only just started! We spent pretty much the whole night chasing bites. Prepped only with nylon on our reels we really got it handed to us.
Luckily for us, the surf zone is subject to so much change and with a little patience we finally connected with some Dusky Kob and Leervis specimens. Makes you appreciate these guys so much more.
Let me know in the comment section if you're digging this "Adventure Series". Next time I reckon we travel a bit further to a lil shack on the cliffsides in search of summer pelagics.
Please don't forget to like, subscribe and hit the notification bar to get alerts for the next upload. Thanks for all the support so far! I'm excited to see what crazy episodes we can cook up in the summer heat ☼

First time watching one of your videos, really great job! First time I pause a video at the begging to grab the wife to watch with me lol. Im new to angling, first time ever using a 14ft rod. Was super intimidated since I hadn't fished since I was 13 or so. Starting to get the hang of trying knots, making traces and using a bionic finger. Tight lines guys

Cool video, mustve been painful fighting that big shark lol. I was just wondering, what sort of circle hooks and in what size do you you like to use when chasing kob?

Hi quick question how do you slide with your grinder setup? Do you fish braid and mono or do you use specific slides?
