Pecky is one of the best anglers in the uk/world. And Rich is the same as for an interviewer 💯%. Always askes the best questions. pleasure to listen to. Cheers fellas. 👌
Brilliant bit of content! And could listen to Darrell all day , full of info and a great insight to just the amount of effort, to catch carp of a lifetime 👌
Absolute class episode. To say Darrell knows his stuff is a massive understatement. I used to get my fishing gear from the shop that he worked in as a teenager and even then you could tell he was special. To see the angler he has become fills me with pride. He was always going to smash it!!
This is an excellent example of why darrell is Darrell, simple one of the best pod casts I have listened too. Congratulations and 👀 forward to the next chapter.
No words ...pecky mate 👌 Amazing dedication 👏🏻 🙌 I lived and fished in France 20 years .... looked there 1 time .... i always said ' 1 day' but never did Bloody well done 👏🏻 😊
I fished on Orient now for 8 Weeks in total (5 years) and only blanked, but made my own experiences and I really enjoyed to listen to darrell and explaining how he got onto his fish... Its about the journey to the first one...and keep pushing yourself every single session!
I once camped in the campsite on the banks by the harbour for a week. The place is absolutely MASSIVE, absolutely intimidating and awe inspiring. Massive respect to Daryl for the determination. I managed to catch one fish on a quick evening session....it was a 4oz pike on a spinner, but I'm counting it!
This guys like an international mr world wide version of tel, catching the speakable in modern day, ridiculous and an unstoppable machine, one in a million angler, most people cant and won’t ever know the isolated mindset and dedication needed for fishing like this, he’s an absolute terminator
"Any idea on why your car got burnt out?" "Well, we were fishing in someone else's country breaking all sorts of rules and generally taking the piss. Then i was rude to and lied to a local angler who called me out about it. To this day, I still can't understand it." 😂 Oh, and the next two times I went back there I broke the rules again. 😂 and people wonder why english anglers are starting to get filled in, and their cars smashed up out here.
Fantastic podcast I fished a lake many years ago local to the orient the sheer size of the place blew my mind my mind unbelievable place and just stood there completely mesmerised taking it all in thinking where would you start on a place like that 😂
Great lad and even greater angler is Darrell we should see more of him doing his own thing giving us a real insight into how he thinks about his approach etc.👌and I would love to hear his personal stories about his earlier days like the yately car park etc
Wow! how did you get a bivvy boat past the Mrs? When I’ve been to the tackle shop I can usually get anything past the Mrs “oh this rod? I’ve had this for years” But I think she would have more questions with a bivvy boat on on a trailer. Great work Darrell.
I live half an hour from Hombeek, fished it like 3 times. Hate the mentality of those unemployed carp fishermen who rotate swims until they have algae growing under their armpits. But it does hold some of the finest commons in the entire Benelux.
A "vindage" 😂 its a vidange, it means to empty. Mange tout rodders, mange tout! 😂 Also, the caterpillars are procession caterpillars that nest in pines. You or your dog breathe in their hairs and it can be a big problem.
I have always considered Darrell as one of the best carp anglers around but I gotta say I've lost a bit of respect hearing how willing he is to break the lake rules for a bite. Im sure we could all do better if we fished places that were out of bounds or times that are restricted. Not a good example to young anglers.
Danny should address Darryl continuously breaking rules in France on public lakes in order to bolster his album, very disappointing Korda permits this. Many people have been banned by Darryl on social media for pointing out his blatant bending/breaking of the rules. I will never support anything Darryl has to do with Korda. 20years loyal customer, been fun guys.

Cracking podcast pure passion 👌
Cracking podcast one of the best I've seen for ages.
Much as I would dream to, I know I won't ever get the time to do this, so it's been incredible to feel this experience through this podcast.
Brilliant bit of content! And could listen to Darrell all day , full of info and a great insight to just the amount of effort, to catch carp of a lifetime 👌
I always prefer listening to him rather than watching the video I can really envisage the situation better. You feel like your there. Brilliant story

How many times have you knocked one out over Darrell?
@@DenzelLN936 That comment says more about you than me mate!
@@mattiemclean9882 I dunno, you wrote the original soppy comment?
I’ve banged out a good half a dozen 😘 😂
It seems a lot of people would prefer to see a podcast about blanking for weeks whilst sticking to the rules.
I loved this…
Possibly the best carp angler about 👌👌 carp fix is mega too
Also one of the best stroke pullers out there😂
U mr peck are not human!! Next level and beyond is an understatement on your ability to catch carp in the way u do ! Awesome mate and respect 🙌🍻
This is an excellent example of why darrell is Darrell, simple one of the best pod casts I have listened too. Congratulations and 👀 forward to the next chapter.
One of the best podcasts I have had the pleasure to watch. Phenomenal 👏👌👏
No words ...pecky mate 👌

Bloody well done 👏🏻 😊
great story teller, Im not a carp angler but love listening to anything fishing related and thoroughly enjoyed this.
Get totally absorbed into Darrells orient stories, love them!
One of the best pods I’ve listened to well done lads 👌🏽
Man like Pecks - could listen to his stories all day long. DF, El Tel, Gaz Fareham & the dark sider are the same. They keep you captivated.

Excellent thank you.

Must have listened to it 5 or 6 times now. Its such a good story, they could make it into a movie like The Mercy mixed with Cast Away or something

I've always considered myself a bit of an Anglophile when it comes to all things carpy but that was enthralling. Great interview, cheers.

Great work Darrell.
he’s become a very good story teller mr peck
When we getting more content more videos we all need them
It's the mindset that makes the difference I'm sure we all look at our own angling in different ways.
Really good listen this one was. Respect to Darrell and Korda
"Do you think there's a correlation between the length of your beard and the size of the fish you caught?" pmsl Rich 🤣🤣🤣 BRILLIANT Podcast !
The GOAT !!
I live half an hour from Hombeek, fished it like 3 times. Hate the mentality of those unemployed carp fishermen who rotate swims until they have algae growing under their armpits. But it does hold some of the finest commons in the entire Benelux.
Korda you got to talk to Greg Oreily he’s been hitting chanty all the big lakes in France for years !!
Stroke pulling extremes 🤣🤣
When you hear his drive, I realise how liitle effort I put into mine
A "vindage" 😂 its a vidange, it means to empty. Mange tout rodders, mange tout! 😂
Also, the caterpillars are procession caterpillars that nest in pines. You or your dog breathe in their hairs and it can be a big problem.
When you're not bothered by 150 Euro fine you know you are proper stroke puller and will do what ever it needs to be done to catch carp
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The warning at the beginning and some of the comments have happily prevented me wasting nearly 3 hours of my time…..😂
I’m going…
Bring back Simon
Fined?
