  • This is the first in a build series swapping a mk 4 1.8 turbo engine into a 1988 VW Cabriolet. The goal is to cram the trubo engine into the cabby to make a fun, low-buck daily that will surprise people out on the road. First, because they'll be surprised it's not a chick driving, second, because it'll have 170 horse power in a car that weighs 2200 pounds...

      Seems to be the problem when you are addicted to cars and have so many options. I still own it and the Jetta to convert, just haven't done it because I get side tracked by other projects.
