- In this video I tell you a bit more about Nuvo Jewel drops. They have several different drops at Tonic Studios and in this video I show the clear drying Jewel Drops that have a bit of a gem finish and are super pretty.
I show how you can make the perfect drop, how you can fix a wonky drop, how you can pre-make drops and when best to use them.

Gerry, great tutorial and super tips. Would it work on wax paper? Never knew you could make the drops ahead as I have been buying enamel dots that look just like what you showed. Money saving tip my favorite. Thank you for sharing and teaching and always inspiring.
Tricia Podmore thanks dear💕I don’t know if that works but that is hard too attach to a piece of cardboard I would think and to keep it flat, don’t know for sure🤔we don’t have that here. But as we are talking money saving tips, you can use the sheets the enamel dots come on, that’s the same💖

Gerry, so enjoying your videos! Have learned a lot from watching - thanks! I had previously tried making my own drops and wasn’t happy with how a lot of them came out. So glad to have your tips and I will certainly try again. A question about storage though. I left mine on the sheets like you have shown but a lot slipped off and then stuck together. I’m curious how you store them?
Thanks, you're welcome💕 I have the sheets on a piece of cardboard (to make it. sturdy surface) and unless I push them off sideways once they are dry, they just stay in place. I always put the complete piece on top of a box

Great tutorial! Do these easily glue to a project??
thanks💖 yes it's a glue basically, and you can use the same colour drops to glue them to a project when pre-made or apply them straight on
How do they do in the mail?
they stay nice in place, the longer they dry the firmer they will become, they do flatten a bit when you add something on top, like in a pile of cards. That's why I like to pre-make them.
I think you were tired when you made this! Your English is usually so good but you really seemed to be struggling. I kept talking to my screen to help you find the word.
A top tip if you have children - put them in a container out of reach of little fingers. They really do look like sweets/candy.

Usually I do voiceover with a script and I can do it again if needed😁and I am always tired so that can’t be it🤪😘 oh yes, great tip, put them on top of a cupboard out of reach for drying and put them away in a safe place for storage, they look totally jummie
