Yeah, technically you're punching at a faster speed in-between frames even though you're "moving" at 1 FPS, so your attacks are going to be way stronger than someone who's moving at a fluid, constant speed thanks to a higher FPS. However, if you're at a higher FPS, then that means you can hit them more in less time and be a generally more consistent fighter, which is perhaps why 24 FPS won at the end despite getting initially curb-stomped.
nope, fps is client sided, they will update your character 60 times per second while you see it update 1 times per second, which makes it 60 times easier TO KILL YOU, not for you to win
A typical misconception of the "FPS" idea. A smaller FPS doesn't mean "slower", it only means you see "less or few in-between steps". So you should technically see disappearance and re-appearance of the same character and just starting and ending the bunch action. If it's the same person performing the same action, it will take the same amount of time whether it is in 1 or 24 FPS. So, if it takes one person 2 seconds to throw a punch, it will be 2 seconds in a film regardless whether it was shot in 1 FPS or 24 FPS. It's just that in 1 FPS, there are only 2 frames, but in 24 FPS, it will be 48 frames in that same 2 seconds. In another words, in a low FPS film, if the start of action was not captured on frame and it takes less than a second to complete an action, you will see a magical disappearance and the impact of the action but not the action itself XD
In Roblox if you have low fps it affects what the other players see and how your physics works on the game also so if you jump you look like your floating on the other players screen because it looks like your still in the air on your screen so they see it also but from their perspective
@@SeaBlue0 yeah roblox has a ton of fps related problems, doesn't help that it barely uses RAM yet still nukes fps the moment RAM usage increases and single core support, fortunately as of late they've shoved lighting on the gpu
1 fps doesn't mean slow, it actually means insanely fast, as a 24 fps stickman takes 48 frames for a 2 second punch, a 1 fps stick would have only 2 frames for a 2 second punch, looking faster
How is 1 fps slower? Doesn't matter if it's 1 fps or 492822929, the action will still take the same speed. A movie's length doesn't change at all even if it has 0,1 fps.
Animation alone could be better but that's a great concept tbh. It might be cool to do like a 12fps vs 24 fps fight with all single-framed combat from one, and all double-framed for the other.
I knew it. The 1 fps stickman takes a long pause between poses but he moves BETWEEN those poses instantly which means he moves between them at faster than *LIGHT SPEED.* If you're taking up the space of his next position or you're in the space between them, you're doomed. when he landed that first punch it wasn't the sound of his fist. It was the sound of purple's *bones breaking instantly* your only option is to attack during the pause. If you stay too long you may find yourself obliterated.
When I’m lagging I feel like I’m DIO, attacking people during time stop before resuming time for that person just to get decimated in a second with no context.
imagine that you reverse blink. You stay with your eyes closed, and you only open it for 1/60 of a second each second. That's how it should feel to fight a 1fps fighter. They move behind camera and only 1 of their movements each second is actually portrayed. It's the closest you'll get to fighting a real King Crimson from JoJo part 5.
"By the power of my lag, even though I should be dead your comboes get canceled due to knock back ineffectiveness and dmg delayed meaning that I have to end this fight in the next 4 minutes and 11 secs"
1 FPS vs 24 FPS is a rather interesting fight, this is obviously because of the difference of FPS between these two. 1 FPS pretty much has attacks that are done instantly, but a less smooth movement which means that it can't dodge or repositionate quickly, while 24 FPS attacks need an animation to be done and can be stopped by 1 FPS with enough timing, but has a lot faster movement which allows for quickier repositionating and dodging (if even possible by the aforementionated instant attacks of 1 FPS). Anyways, this would be a rather entertaining fight to see because of their differences. (I don't even know if what I wrote is comprehensible, english ain't my first language)
the advantage of having 1 FPS is that (not every time) every time a person attacks you, the wi-fi gets 0.1% better and makes you teleport from another country
@@kymanilion4743 Freedom of speech is an often misunderstood concept on the internet. In its purest form, freedom of speech means that people should be allowed to express their opinions without any consequences whatsoever. However, that’s a right that is not recognized anywhere in the world because it leads to illogical results that burden the rights of others. For instance, if your girlfriend chooses to break up with you because she dislikes your ideological views, that is undoubtedly a negative consequence of expressing your free speech, but the notion that society would tolerate free speech forcing her to remain as your girlfriend is patently absurd. If you espouse racially insensitive remarks against a minority client of your companys and are subsequently fired, freedom of speech does not compel your employer to keep you employed. NBC’s Today Show and ABC’s Good Morning America are, similarly, not burdening the free speech rights of minority viewpoints by electing not to allow them to be interviewed on their shows, even if the decision not to, for instance, permit a white nationalist from explaining his/her views, clearly stems from a belief that such views are repugnant. Rather, freedom of speech in the United States and elsewhere is a proscription on the use of government power to burden free speech rights. Examples listed earlier were examples of entirely private conduct being subject to free speech consideration, a result that has never obtained in US courts, nor is it likely to obtain irrespective of whether the Supreme Court is in the hands of liberals or conservatives. Therefore, freedom of speech generally bars the government from penalizing you with jail time or fines for the basic act of expressing your beliefs, and acts as a bar to the government from using its power to enforce a civil judgment. Even then, freedom of speech is not absolute. In the US there are laws that technically limit freedom of speech and expression: Slander, libel, copyright, hate crimes, sedition and treachery for example. The First Amendment raises the bar tremendously as to the burden required to prove each of these actions, but it does not generally create irrebutable presumptions against them. This is why Anwar Al-Awlaki could not simply invoke the First Amendment as a shield for his activities supporting Al Qaeda’s propaganda arm, nor was it an absolute shield from liability for Rolling Stone in its shoddy reporting on campus rape in UVA after the jury had found actual malice. In a more germane example, freedom of speech also does not mean that public policy encourages an unregulated morass on the internet. Thus, Congress specifically recognized the need for online platforms to self-regulate comments in passing the Communications Decency Act of 1996. §230 of the CDA exempts online platforms from the common law republication rule if websites choose to moderate comments on their platforms. Thus, a subreddit dedicated to news (such as this one) is within its grant of authority to prohibit submitted “articles” from merely being pictures, or the self-written musings of users themselves. Other subreddits might permit ONLY submissions of that nature, and that’s perfectly fine. Unrestricted free speech would hold that such actions constitute censorship - common sense would hold that these are merely expressions of the specific purpose of the subreddits themselves. Sitewide administrators also require that subreddit moderators enforce sitewide rules prohibiting certain behavior, as listed in the site’s content policy. Free speech is not an excuse to post illegal content, nor is it an excuse that will carry the day if you act in a way that harasses other users (a proscription not recognized by law). In fact, posting of illegal or defamatory content on the site can easily expose someone to criminal or civil liability, and reddit is under no obligation to protect your online identity from entities seeking to subpoena it for liability purposes. Finally, free speech and “censorship” in the context of moderation on subs is also specifically recognized by the sitewide administrators. The content policy also includes a statement on reddit moderators: Individual communities on Reddit may have their own rules in addition to ours and their own moderators to enforce them. Reddit provides tools to aid moderators, but does not prescribe their usage. This enables community moderators to determine for themselves the appropriate rules for their communities on top of sitewide rules that all communities must enforce. That has led to a diversity of subreddits with varying tolerances for content. Some subreddits choose to enforce only the bare minimum, if even that. Others choose to enforce rules that would damn near take a rules lawyer to understand. On /r/nottheonion, we take a middle approach, permitting a wide range of comments as they pertain to civil discourse, but excluding comments that would be uncivil, or offensive. Generally, if users discuss in a manner consistent with how they would discuss matters in the workplace or among a new group of friends, they'd never encounter an issue with moderation. If you believe this to be impermissible censorship, we can only disagree, because the vast majority of users will never be subject to a moderation action, but the site as a whole and the internet in general provide many opportunities for “free speech” that may be free of the reasonable limitations that we find to be necessary to ensure civility.
