Re-evaluation of power rankings of each character - OBJECTIVE BASED (solely based on power):
1. Brown - the ability to completely render anything from your opponent useless as well as turn into a mutant should just not be allowed, this is balanced out with having zero energy, however. Also very matchup dependent.
2. Lime - Time stop would technically never lose if done right, but ended with an unlucky matchup against Brown.
3. Purple - Literally being thanos gives you next level potential
4. Navy Blue - If done right, gravity control can cause something else. It literally can bend the laws of physics, as well as be able to completely break pressure is just next level power, however this is also very self-destructive.
5. Blue - The ability to pull weapons out of thin air with no limitations is completely unfair, as you could easily swarm your opponent before they realize
5. Violet - Agility as well as having literally REGENERATIVE LIMBS could keep you in battle for ages, as you slowly chip down your opponent. Boring playstyle, but very effective
6. Turquoise - Elemental power isn’t really necessarily effective, if turquoise actually managed his power correctly, he would have performed much better than how he did. You can also swarm your opponent with this.
7. Gold - If you think about it, you could throw anyone around the arena basically infinitely, this is insanely overpowered but can be countered by smart opponents with ease.
8. Green - Super speed can literally disintegrate through someone like a bullet with quick enough momentum, however this is likely self destructive.
9. Orange - You’d think unlimited clones would be put higher, but you should realize everyone higher here can easily put this man down with ease
10. Black - The stone switch isn’t anything excessive, but with proper management you can trick your opponent. Highly matchup dependent.
11. Red - This is red without cheats, nothing special here. Red with cheats could be placed anywhere on this list, so that’s why I say without. Nothing more to specify.
12. Yellow - Extendable limbs is more of a disadvantage than an advantage, as although you do gain the ability to attack from far distances and size up versus your opponent, you become much more vulnerable and exposed to enemy attacks.

The idea of a super op ability such as enhanced strenght + ability negation but with a timer is very cool, since it is very weak against raw strenght or very high speed oponents but against oponents who base themselves off of only abilities that debuff the opponent he is very strong, like a lot of jojos characters, sadly they probably had to get rid of him because it would be hard to make such an ability fun to watch

I personally find the fact that lighter purple and red have powers that similar in way interesting. Lighter purple’s power seems to be changing and generating new limbs. Which is seems to be an actual combination of light blue’s power of generation of blades and red’s ability that allows changing of limbs for other limbs and makes any part of his body besides his brain not necessary. You can probably tell why I think so.
So in short red + blue= purple right?

Plot twist: that's future red but violet to not be recognized
Of all of them, in my opinion, Brown is the toughest. He may not have portal powers, time-lapse powers, clone himself or anything like that, but his fury is inexplicable. This makes him more agile and stronger, except for the part where he gets very tired in the end.

Here's my ranking from strongest to weakest
1. Purple ( beat three of the strongest in the tournament)
2. Magenta ( would have won against Purple if wasn't do to plot)
3. Blue ( blud him and purple were fr even and would have lost)
4. Turquoise ( purple looked like he didn't even try so he's here at 4)
5. Brown and gold ( could have won fr there probably even better than turquoise when it comes to combat biq and durability)
6. Green ( his time stop could beat the freak outta red even if he had different body parts)
7. Red with hacks ( last tournament was dead even with magenta at this tournamen hell probablybe a problem for blue )
8. Orange ( he might actually be 6. Ngl or even with red with hacks because he can just create infinite clones)
9. Dark blue ( he looked like he just got his powers and didn't know the basics of his own ability plus he got no-low diff by blue )
11. Dark green ( go cooked so fast it wasn't even funny could run fast but couldn't see that coming)
10. Black ( sorry sorry but he was really doing ok when he fought orange i don't think yellow would do better )
12. Yellow ( power is pretty weak if you're not luffy fr plus lost twice to red you'd think he'll learn but nah)

*this is a quite recent comment compared to others here, and also i'm sure everyone here had watched this at least once.*
*(edit) like freaking hell, i said i'll edit my comment for the next day, but it had been 4 months. still, i won't deliver late again. *
Anyways... I remembered watching this when i'm just 9, currently 16-17. Anyways, i liked a lot of characters here, Dark blue is basically Sans, which i loved since i was also a Undertale fan, except that he does not have GB's. and also Brown. He with his rage can beat the shit out of anyone whenever he is very mad (lime was stupid in using his power, he could just stop time for a while and snap anyone's neck.) Btw, my favorite character in this tourney was Violet. She is quite creative with her power, and her dab in 16:48, as well as the pose when she saw Sliver ? in 24:07. She can use mutations that gives her speed,power,stealth etc. (a bit like a combination between blue's power to summon weapons and red's ability to seperate himself into many different parts which operate independently). Anyways, the usage of each mutations:
- Tail:Violet uses the tail for fast maneuvers against enemies.
- Claws: Can protrude out claws that packs a punch. She can also use it as finishing attack.
- Wings: She uses wings to quickly fly to a different place, as well as in top corners.
- Long limbs: Violet can use long limbs for mainly long range attack, and also to grab enemies and throw them.
- Shell: The shell is for her taking enemy hits, hiding and can also be used offensively, as well as launching the shell if needed.
- Antenna: She mainly uses it for stealth. The antenna is not suitable for direct combat, but Violet can use it for surprise attacks or to sneak.
- Spider legs: The spider legs can be used for both speed and offense. She is fast when using this mutation, but the spider legs are frail to attacks.
Battles:
Vs. Turquoise:To be fair, Turquoise put up a good fight against her, with his elements power. At the very beginning of the fight, his fire can burn Violet's spider legs. When she was being outpowered by fire, Turquoise decided to play water, which isn't that effective against Violet, as she used long limbs to feel the water changing, and also for throwing enemies even when they're behind. Seeing this, he decided to use earth to try to surprise Violet, but she reacted to that. When Violet used wings to outspeed Turquoise, he decided to play speed with speed by using lightning. In the end, Turquoise used his final attack at Violet's shell, which she escaped, defeating Turquoise in the process.
Vs. Orange:This was an easier battle for Violet, as Orange could only clone themselves. When she used her claw, at that time 2-4 clones were here, and she killed two. She decided to use the wings for flight. and had an epic landing against the clone and the real Orange. From here, Orange has a new usage of their clones by reviving the clones into four. When Violet has overwhelmed by the number of clones, she couldn't stand and decided to use the shell.
More to be added, i'll do it the next day tho.

This my own take on each character's abilities and how useful they are as well as why they were effective against the enemies they faced and how some of them could've been more effective.
Red - Reforming body parts and replacing limbs. Though his ability is strong, as Blue demonstrated, he always needs to keep his head safe. Additionally, if someone like Orange were to keep his parts separate, there's nothing he can do. The only way he wins is by stealing everyone's ability at the start of each match but even then, there no guarantee that he can use them effectively. This is especially evident in the previous tournament where he had the power of not one but four other stickmen and though he bested Blue, he was unable to use Blue's powers effective against Dark Purple.
Yellow - Elasticity. Easily the worst ability here. Against non-moving targets, his powers would be pretty good but against someone like Red, he doesn't have any real counter. Additionally, against other weaker characters like Orange and Black, he can hold his own but winning against orange is out of the question. To win against Black, he would have to crush him and his stone body at the same time. Orange on the other hand, is nigh impossible as the moment he is being choked, he'll bring out a new clone to resurrect the others or continue the fight. Yellow has no way to permanently put down Orange unless he can really break all the clones in one go.
Blue - Summon any melee weapon. This is pretty self explanatory. His only weakness is the fact that other characters can use his weapons too and as revealed by Red in the previous fight is unable to focus on more than just one power.
Dark Blue - Usage of bones like Sans. Flashy and effective but only against certain characters. Characters like Blue are able to overpower him as his bones simply do not have the same defensive power as characters like Blue, Light Blue, Brown, Light Green, Purple, and Dark purple.
Orange - Infinite clones. This is perhaps the most mid-tier ability I've seen. On its own, he can essentially keep a fight going for as long as he has the energy and time to. However, this is only when he is allowed to use infinite clones. When he was only allowed three, he was nearly defeated against Black as he still needs one living copy in order to keep fighting. Other characters like Blue and Purple who are able to adapt to his powers, mean that he's just timed canon fodder.
Black - Stone clone. Powerful but also near obsolete. He's limited to only changing bodies and while this is useful against some characters, most characters can beat him by simply destroying his stone body around the same time they destroy his real body.
Purple - Adaptability. His ability is truly one of the strongest as he's always changing. There's no one solid form or power for him which is why he was able to win against Blue. Blue doesn't have the ability to deal with someone who's powers are always changing and he kept changing to the point where everyone who faced him simply had no real counter to his abilities while he was able to develop a counter to theirs. The only reason he'll lose is because someone else can use his powers better than him as shown by Dark Purple. He only won because Dark Purple wasn't as good as him with his abilities.
Light Blue - Elemental strength. Perhaps the third strongest ability in all the new guys. If it weren't for Brown, he would be in second place because he was a larger variety of options to take out his opponents.
Brown - Nullifying everyone's ability. Brown would easily destroy everyone here if it weren't for his stamina. To win his fights, he needs to use his ability at the very beginning of the fight where his stamina is at the highest and to force everyone to rely on pure hand to hand combat.
Light Green - Time Stop. He could easily best almost everyone here. However characters like Red, Brown, and Dark Purple would be able to find a way around his ability, as Brown's ability can nullify Green while Red's ability to reattach his limbs means that Green would be wasting his time unless he can actually damage the body parts. Dark Purple can steal his ability and use it against him. If he wanted to gain a higher spot, he would've needed to use his ability at the very beginning of the fight. However, bad luck resulted in him being paired up with Brown.
Gold - Portals. It's a good ability at best. Though the portals can be used to redirect and cut enemies at the right moment, he's limited by the fact that once they figure out his gimmick, a strategy to defeat him becomes rather easy. If he wanted to win, he should've done the portal cut to everyone at the very beginning.
Dark Green - Super speed. Granted, it's a strong ability but it's got one major weakness. The only thing that has been improved is his attack speed so unless he is able to take out clones before they can be replicated or before another person's ability is used, he's done.
Dark purple - The power of technology. He's very reliant on tech and can even replicate the power of other characters. However, since he isn't used to everyone else' powers, he might not be able to use them as effective. This can be seen when he replicated Purple's powers and towards the end, he could've used flight to withstand the attack but instead chose to reach him on land.

Green:Stopping time is his power to punch someone even not them noticing

Black and his statue:each of them is twins and they have time to fight before one of them turns statue then the other one can fight
Sky blue i think:controlls nature thats it
Dark blue: controlls gravity to kill his opponent
Brown: punches himselft to get his adrenaline to kill
Dark green:Amazing agility to fight his opponent
Purple:shapeshifts anything i guess
Dark yellow or gold: makes portal to send it to the other portal greats for combos
